Dect Plus technology takes the superb sound quality and outstanding range of DECT 6.0 phones to a whole new level. By increasing the frequency of error correction up to 80x, the transmission quality is improved and the phone's range is extended. Engineered to work in 1.9GHz frequency, our DECT 6.0 phones won't conflict with common wireless devices such as 2.4GHz routers, wireless keyboards and mice, microwave ovens and other household items. And because it's digital, you'll enjoy long range and clear sound while deterring eavesdropping.

  • newegg DECT 6.0 Technology With cutting-edge DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Communications) technology, the cordless Panasonic KX-TG4024N operates in the 1.9GHz frequency range to eliminate interference caused by radio signals from mobile phones, Wi-Fi or other wireless devices, delivering enhanced voice clarity, roaming range and security when making phone calls.
  • newegg Four-handset System The Panasonic KX-TG4024N provides convenience of using four handsets (expandable to six) via a single landline connection and allows for call transfer, 4-way call conferencing and intercom between the handsets.
  • newegg Intelligent Eco Mode This clever new feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.
  • newegg Call Waiting Caller ID Now you don't have to be holding the phone to see who's calling; using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID information is announced in between rings!
  • newegg All-digital Answering System The Panasonic KX-TG4024N is equipped with an all-digital answering system providing up to 18 minutes of recording time for quick, easy retrieval of crystal-clear messages. As all messages are stored in flash memory, none can be lost upon power failure or interruption.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Enough

Pros: Good audio quality/range. In terms of audio quality, big upgrade from the previous set. The on-sale price was good bang for the buck.

Cons: Some users report printed text wearing off of the devices. I've not had this problem yet.

Other Thoughts: I've had these for about 2 months now. My needs are pretty basic, so as long as the thing works I'm pretty happy; and work it does.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware!!!!

Pros: Voice quality is decent only. Range is good.

Cons: All of the lettering printed directly on the phone, such as "Redial" and "CID" wears off within weeks just from holding it to your ear. I rarely use these, so it's not from wear and tear. It appears to be from skin oils. It's a manufacturing defect, plain and simple.

Other Thoughts: I contacted Panasonic and they wanted me to send the phones in, at my expense, for "refurbished" phones. They would not guarantee that the newer phones wouldn't have the same problem!

1 out of 5 eggsBad performance

Pros: Look good

Cons: More static than the 5.8 Panasonic, less range, fewer features, no auditable caller id announcement...

Other Thoughts: Go for the 1.9
