4 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: No Batteries Required
Keys Light Up, even when the power goes out.
Programmable speed dial

Cons: "Feels" a bit cheap, but preforms perfectly.

Other Thoughts: This is a simple phone. I needed a corded line for emergency use in the event of a power outage. This fit the bill perfectly. Program the speed-dial with emergency contacts, mount it on a wall, and the phone keypad will remain lit even if the power goes out. Simple and functional.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: came in a nice box

Cons: A very cheap imitation of the original Trimline phone which I've had for several years. No one on the other end can hear anything but a muffled noise in an echo chamber, rendering the phone useless.
All attempts to optimize, change settings for volume, ringer, etc. failed, house line works fine with other phones, & I can hear people on the other end ok, although a little echo-y

Other Thoughts: Please note I have never given a negative review of a product purchased here or elsewhere before (except a minimally negative comment here & there), but this product warrants it.
It would appear this product came out of a manufacturing facility with no QC department or policy.
I need 1 corded phone for reasons I won't get into here & have always had AT&T branded or the Vtech spinoff with good quality.
This one is the end of an era & is going back

5 out of 5 eggsGood build and reliable

Pros: It's your basic Trim Line phone with memory, and you don't have to worry about it being a cheaply made phone. It's lighter and easier to hold than the old Trim Lines from 20+ years ago, but it is solidly made and the voice quality is exceptionally better than the one it replaced.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought this for my mother because she was having an odd phone problem that I tracked down to a cheap dollar store phone she had in her bedroom.

She wanted to keep it simple and I wanted her to have a dependable, quality built wired phone that would work if the power went out. This is it.
