1 out of 5 eggsAT&T TL7611 DECT 6.0 Cordless Headset with Handset Lifter

Pros: compatible with AT&T unit

Cons: Qualilty of microphone is POOR ... unable to control volume of mic; single ear phone is another weakness vs. two ear headset

Other Thoughts: NOT worth expense when mic quality is so poor ... would like full refund

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Flexibility for everyone who uses one to have their preferred headset style.
Can be used on almost any phone for real handsfree use with the lifter.

Cons: Slight echo. It's easy to get used to, but is still there and may be obnoxious to some.
The adhesive on the lifter is not perfect, it can slip if it gets warm. I used hot glue and it held perfectly.

One of our headsets got damaged, and would not charge properly. (One of the charging pins fell out of position.) I cannot imagine that's a consistent problem, because with the 4 others, no issues were had.

Other Thoughts: If you don't know what kind of phone you'll have to attach this to, you can be fairly certain you will be able to operate it properly with this set.

I wanted to give a 5-star rating, but that would not be accurate for my experience. I don't believe the current low rating is accurate, but I only have one opinion to share.

4 out of 5 eggsVersatile Little Bugger

Pros: This headset features many options for how to use and how to wear. Compatible with certain wireless phone systems out of the box, the lifter provides a solution for every other system.

Cons: I have 3 of these currently, and with one the lifter slides out of position from constant use. Could use better adhesive on the base. This could be due to not allowing enough time to cure before using that particular phone, another one that wasn't used right away stays in place.

Other Thoughts: If you want to be able to set up any phone system to be cordless, this will do it.

If you already have a DECT system or similar, you can probably skip the lifter and go for the TL7610.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice design

Cons: It doesn't work!! I can hear very well but the person on the other end can't. it sounded very low for them. I tried all different settings and spoke to AT&T support and was told to return it. Got the 2nd one and it did the same thing and asked for a refund and ordered headset by plantronic. That one worked.
I like the earpiece on the ATT better. Too bad it didn't work; I thought ATT make good products!!!!

Other Thoughts: Newegg return polices are great!!

1 out of 5 eggsNonfunctioning unit

Pros: Nice feature set. Lifter mechanism is better designed and easier to set up than my GN unit. Clear instructions.

Cons: Callers could not hear me- at all. I went through all the troubleshooting steps myself, and then again with the AT&T tech representative. The unit was just defective and I returned it.

Other Thoughts: A known percentage of electronic devices will be defective right out of the box, but it sure is frustrating. Newegg's return policy and procedures are great.
