This review is from: Digital Innovations Skip Dr. Repair Combo for PS3
Pros: Has both battery and wall adapter, easy to use.
Cons: Design is poor. The cleaning solution (mostly filtered water with some isopropyl alcohol) runs down inside the housing when in operation. Couldn't do more than one disk at a time without risking it shorting out or at least corroding the battery contacts. Ended up having to remove the batteries after every use and let it stand for a day or two to dry out before using it again.
Other Thoughts: SkipDRx USED to be a good and reliable product. The first one I bought lasted for more than 3 years and I resurfaced hundreds of disks with it. I paid $40 for it and it was worth every penny. Now it's just another cheap piece of plastic trash that falls apart after less than a dozen uses. Shame on you, Newegg, for selling such garbage and shame on SkipDRx for their greed.
