Pros: First off, I have the PC model of this joystick which is a decent joystick made by Saitek. Nothing fancy, but programmable and quite durable. I own two of them and carry them in my luggage for playing while traveling.

Cons: HOWEVER: There are TWO models available: An AV8R- (03) model for the SONY PS3 which is pictured here which has PS3 buttons, and

ANOTHER model AV8R- (01) model with SWITCHES - NOT BUTTONS, for the PC computer.

Newegg sent me the (01 model) PC version two different times incorrectly instead of the SONY PS3 (03) version which is described and pictured here.

Hold off buying this until they get it the problem straightened out or you will be sent the wrong item.

Other Thoughts: Only a "headsup" to prevent others from similiar needless headaches. I finally ordered this from another major online vendor and they sent me the correct item the first time.

Newegg issued the appropriate RMA's, but hopefully this will save someone else needless headaches.

All in all, Newegg made things right, but took a month sending me the wrong item two times in a row.

Pros: Instant plug and play with fsx.

Cons: The only con I can think of is; it's kinda big.

Other Thoughts: It makes flying so much easier. The large base makes it very sturdy. The buttons can take an overzealous player. It's ready to go when you plug it up and start the fsx.

Pros: Very sturdy/Well made, wide variety of buttons and switches, very accurate, easy install, great price.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is by no means a high end stick with high end options (force feedback, etc) but for the price its a great product. If you enjoy flight sims but are not willing to shell out over a hundred for a stick this is the perfect product for you. Tested on Flight Simulator X and HAWX.

Pros: It's possible to turn the joystick. The buttons are not cumbersome. It was ready out of the box to play HAWX (a good game BTW, but Tom Clancy is an idiot). I like the built in throttle. It worked with Windows 7 64bit... no driver installation needed.

Cons: Newegg could have more details on this item. For example, this can be used for PS3 or PC. Being as I'm not a devout gamer, I didn't know PS3 equates to USB. I emailed newegg and received back a never un-newegg resposne of "we don't know".

Other Thoughts: This is an excellant value for the price. There are alternatives that cost more than twice as much that aren't nearly as nice. BTW, I've only had this for a day, so don't take it as gospel.
