Features

Features
Universal headset for PS3, XBOX 360, PC or Mac

Hear PSN, XBOX LIVE, or online chat plus stereo game sound

Stereo Expander creates a wider stereo panorama

Heart-thumping bass boost adds sonic realism

The built-in Bass Boost feature, which enhances deep-bass effects and makes the game audio even more dramatic.

This is similar to adding a subwoofer to a home theater system where extra bass introduces additional depth to the overall sound. The Bass Boost effect allows you to hear deep audio cues that would otherwise be difficult to hear, resulting in a valuable advantage over your competition.

Chat Boost dynamic talkback lets you hear chat when the game gets louder

Chat Boost automatically increases the online chat levels during intense gaming sequences, so communication from teammates isn't drowned out.

As the game audio gets louder, the chat volume is automatically increased so you can continue to hear what everyone is saying. When the game volume quiets down, the chat level gradually returns to the normal volume setting. You can see it working by looking at the chat level light, which gets brighter as the game gets louder and the chat level increases.

It's a simple solution to an annoying problem, and it happens automatically, so you don't have to adjust anything!

Eliminates game sounds picked up by chat mic

Independent controls for game audio and chat volumes

Mic monitoring allows you to hear what you're saying

If you're wearing a headset, it's hard to hear yourself speak, so you'll tend to talk louder. Just like a telephone, it mixes a portion of the microphone signal into the headphone signal, so you can hear some of your voice along with the online chatting and game audio. This lets you easily sense what you're saying, but not so much that it's distracting.

2 out of 5 eggsLasted 6 months

Pros: Great sound quality
Great mic quality

Cons: Incredibly cheap feeling
Uncomfortable and heavy
Long cords are nice, but this length was just in the way all the time even trying to keep neat
Broke even though never dropped once
The design is terrible and the material is the worst part. I knew after getting it that it was only a mater of time before one of the joints broke. I was very careful with it but still one day out of nowhere the connecting bar just snapped when picked up.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend getting this again should it come back in stock. I only had it 9 months and it broke.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing.
Nice bass and chat boost.
Crystal clear Mic
Crystal clear sound
Long cable

Cons: Breaks Easily
Fragile
One side goes out after a couple weeks

Other Thoughts: I've had a pair for more than a year before, but they kept breaking after a couple months even after proper care. They were replaced under the warranty, but it's still something to take into consideration when buying these.

Other than that, there's really no problems with these.

5 out of 5 eggsReview after PC use

Pros: Good quality cound and Bass, microphone has great sensitivity and ear cups are very comfortable

Cons: If used on a laptop or not dostant from desired device, the still bundeled cord can weigh a lot and makes me fear it possible damaging the USB connector if your not careful. I reccoment un-wrapping the cord's legnth to a moderate extend of using it at a stationary PC

Other Thoughts: While comfortable, the initial stregnth of the ear-cups being forced together is a little strong, and may make them somewhat un-comfortable to wear early on. Other than that it is a high quality produck and I would highly consider buying it again should the need arise

5 out of 5 eggsexcellent for the price range

Pros: I've had these headphones for a little over a year, but I accidentally stepped on them, so I bought another pair from newegg. These are excellent for the price range. Many features, epic. Do it.

Cons: None

3 out of 5 eggsBoop

Pros: Sound quality is amazing

Cons: Headset plastic moving pieces are loose and cheap.
The headset is very tight and uncomfortable, this must have been built for children and they did not label it.

Other Thoughts: I would not buy this if you are a grown adult. Maybe for a teenager or younger. The headset is so small that it has not fit my friends or I in our 20's. Its almost painful to have on after 30 minutes of gaming. While the sound quality is incredible it is not worth the discomfort.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive. Good Quality. Good gaming headset.

Cons: The only negative i have is that the first order was defective. It worked for 2 weeks and then one of the headphone stopped working. Replaced with a new one for another $12 shipping. Other than that very good product for $60.

5 out of 5 eggsWow...

Pros: Well to start the pros, this headset has some deep bass (big emphasis on deep). Amazing sound quality and crystal clear Mic quality. I like how it relays what you have said back to your headphones so you don't have to yell to hear yourself!!! Overall i'm extremely satisfied and would suggest this headset for ANYBODY, even at entry-level or expert-level gaming!

Cons: THERE IS NONE!!!!

Other Thoughts: This headset is definitely worth what you're paying for it plus more... i've had mine for a while now and it works like i just pulled it out of the box.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good headset for price! (on newegg atleast..)

Pros: The reason why I said it's good price on newegg is because I bought my pair from the actual turtlebeach website and they were 80$ on there, wish I would of seen them here first Dx.
Other than that let me get started on my pro's

I think this headset for being sat, and stepped on my 170lbs body does pretty well for working just the same as from when I've bought it! The top head part is leather which I love, and the bass on it is pretty decent to listen to music like dubstep and items like that. Just like other turtlebeaches it comes with the sound box on the cord so you can adjust game audio, chat audio, bass, mic mute, and it includes a switch for "Expander" the "Expander" is to make it easier to hear footsteps when playing in game, some don't notice it, but some people like me do,I've had the X12 turtle beach head set,

Cons: Don't ask how, but I dropped my trombone on my headset, and the ear piece where it turns snapped, and it's made of plastic on the ear piece. :C
I think the bass on the headset though has gone down after some long use though...
Remember though that I've had this for about 8 months now, so thats why partially.
The cord that connects sound box to headset had the "Cord twist death" Where it wraps around it self, and if you keep unwrapping the cord it will eventually tear on the inside of the cord.

Other Thoughts: I've had this PX-21 headset and i've had a Z11 turtlebeach, and also the X12 turtlebeach headset, the PX-21 comes second favorite to the three turtlebeaches I've had though, my first favorite is the X12 headset.
