2 out of 5 eggsMaybe if it was < $50

Pros: POE, 2 Way Audio. more compact than bullet style camera.

Cons: Bundled software is weak and difficult to configure. Web interface video stream does not work citing an unresolvable java security error. Resolution is a joke. Moving the camera position is manual requiring you to open the dome, no motors. The camera connection cuts in and out at random. (Potentially issue with PoE switch).

Other Thoughts: If this was selling for under $50 I could see the value in that. But at any price higher than that, with its low end/obsolete specs, stay away

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the pice!

Pros: Does everything it says it does in the description! I have around 5 of these so far and use them at my place of work. I hooked it up to the network and set a static IP and away it went! It has already paid itself off by what I have captured on it! The POE (power over ethernet) works super slick!!

Cons: Does not do the best in low lighting, but then again it does not say in the description that it has night vision.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like a charm

Pros: The camera does what the description says it can do. I have it mounted up on a ceiling looking down at a door with the motion censor detection on and it works perfectly.

Cons: It was a bit tricky to get the IP setup on the domain network, but once it was set it worked great. I wish it was a bit more clear in the dark, but it does not have night vision or anything.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Camera

Pros: Clear picture. Handles motion well -- no "trails". Easy to mount.

Cons: Directions were somewhat vague.

Other Thoughts: Once it's set (manual focus/manual positioning), the image quality far exceeds other (more expensive) cameras I have running. I'll definitely buy more.

1 out of 5 eggsNo Pan and Tilt

Pros: I don't know, I didn't use it once I found out that the Pan and Tilt was a manual operation.

Cons: No remote Pan and Tilt

Other Thoughts: Why even list that this camera has Pan and Tilt when it's a "manual" Pan and Tilt. Of course every camera can be manually adjusted to point to where the user wants. Frustrated that I got sucked in.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat idea if it worked

Pros: Great idea!

Cons: Hooked it up at home as a test with just the video and worked great. Installed at a client's that wanted to have video and 2way audio. Installed microphone from Radio Shack and video screen went blank on LAN IP address in browser. Never did hear any audio.

Called Trendnet tech support and they had me reboot device, reset to factory defaults, and then upgrade firmware on device, and then use latest Firefox browser. But it appears to have thumped out for some reason?? Their tech support advised sending back to newegg and getting a replacement or refund. Not sure which option I will take.

Other Thoughts: I think I might opt for a refund and find a better quality product. Very disappointing because I had high hopes for this.
