5 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: If this tells you anything, this is the 5th and 6th camera that I bought for the same customer. The camera has a great picture, faces are easily recognizable with this camera.

Cons: The only con I have with this camera is the Trendnet Secureview Pro. Setting up the motion detection and viewing of the camera over the internet using the Secureview Pro is difficult.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a camera with a high quality image.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The camera has an excellent picture. You can easily recognize people's faces with it.

Cons: The camera itself was very easy to setup on the network but the Trendnet Secureview Pro was difficult to setup and get to working. I consider myself very knowledgeable in setting up network devices (15 yrs. in the IT business, 5 yrs. running my own business) but I had trouble getting the cameras setup to do motion recording and to view the cameras over the internet through Secureview Pro.

Other Thoughts: I would highly recommend this camera to someone who is looking for a high quality picture. The picture is good enough to recognize peoples faces and that is what most of my customers are looking for.

3 out of 5 eggsbroken promise

Pros: I own 2 of them. Physically them seem built of good materials (including metal!).

Cons: I called 20150115 in the evening. The tech couldn't solve the issue. I was assured his supervisor was going to call me at 9AM EST the next morning. I waited five hours and gave up.

Other Thoughts: This probably isn't the product for you if you react poorly to being lied to.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Hi Res Cam!

Pros: Great Resolution and reliability. Strong Wireless. Easy Setup.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using w ISpy. Remember this is a manual focus camera! I've seen down-ratings on this cam because someone may have twisted focus on setup or whatever.

4 out of 5 eggsIP Camera TV-IP572W

Pros: Lux is really good with some available light. This camera doesn't have LED lighting for darkness, but then this is mainly used for an interior room in house or business. With just a little light from a miniature 6watt bulb, the camera picks up the images that comes in front of it. The sad thing is it is no longer produced, but another model has replaced it, so I can't say anything about the new model.

Cons: None

Pros: got it on sale for $ support was fast and easy.

Cons: couldn't get live view in IE.called tech support got it to work in chrome.

Other Thoughts: still messing with it

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear about your issues viewing the camera using Internet Explorer. The latest firmware update should resolve this issue. If you have not updated the camera you can add the camera to the compatibility list and that should work as well. However, we do recommend that you perform the update. To finalize the update the camera will need to be reset and reconfigured. If you need assistance please email and we will have someone help you as soon as possible. 2 out of 5 eggsGood Price, some issues

Pros: Price
Micro SD Support
Line-out for external speaker

Cons: Size
2-way audio

Other Thoughts: Setup was extremely easy, no issues. 2-way audio not working at all. I even tried adding an external speaker with no luck. Setup shows mic is on, but it just doesn't work. I'll try updating firmware. I would have given higher rating but out of the box no 2-way audio. It was the main reason I bought it. :(

Manufacturer Response:

We are sorry to hear that you are having an issue with the audio. The camera has a built in microphone, when viewing a live feed you will need to click on the listen button to hear audio from the cameras location. For two-way audio you will need to connect external speakers to the camera. Using a microphone on your computer you can then click on the mic button when viewing the camera to send audio through the camera. Both the speaker and microphone settings need to be enabled on the camera’s video/audio page. If you would like assistance please email and we will have someone help you as soon as possible.
