2 out of 5 eggsTook a chance, subpar product.

Pros: I have had several Vonnic cameras in the past and one recently and they've all been good. I thought I'd take a chance on one of their budget DVR's. It has fluent menus, the whole product itself works very well and I was starting to like it.

Cons: The title of the product states "Full D1@7FPS, CIF" and the manual explains how to go to the encoding settings and change the recording resolution. However, on my DVR it was only able to be set to CIF, no matter the FPS on all the channels. Also the number 1 on the remote didn't work.

Other Thoughts: If it could've recorded at D1 even at 4-5 FPS it would've at least gotten the job done. All other options are worse than this one, I'm going to have to buy a 16-CH DVR at 2-3x the price to record reliably at D1@7FPS
