Pros: No speaker wires in room
Cons: Wish the remote had a display dimmer button. You can set the display to autodim or turn off in the set up menu. I'd like to do it on demand.
Other Thoughts: Not exactly like having speakers behind you. However I did watch a movie last night I heard a persons voice behind me thinking it might have been someone outside, but realized a charater in the movie ran into another room (out of scene) and was shouting something. So it works.

Pros: Hdmi switching (4 inputs!), gets rid of all the wires, speakers, and receiver from your system, self-calibration works pretty well, great sound!, ipod transmitter works really well
Cons: Doesn't work in all types of rooms, the front display is a little small and hard to read for farther couch distances, wireless sub transmitter has a short lag when first turning on the sub - this can probably be fixed by plugging the sub into the wall instead of plugging it into the wireless sub transmitter's pass-through
Other Thoughts: Overall very satisfied with this purchase. It was easy to set up and cleared all the clutter from my entertainment system. The system sounds great in my very large and awkwardly shaped living room. Since my room only has two good walls, the surround doesn't work the best, but I'm pleasantly surprised by what surround effects I do hear. I watched Avatar and it was amazing. These speakers can get LOUD. All the included peripherals such as the ipod transmitter and wireless sub transmitter work as advertised and really add great value. Everyone who comes over is first impressed by the speaker and then impressed when I started playing an mp3 from my iPhone. The included dock also charges your iPhone even while playing music. Get this system and you will not be disappointed.
