3 out of 5 eggsLove/Hate

Pros: Matches the rest of my Pioneer surround sound

Cons: It may be the reciever, but all the other speakers sound great. This speaker just has an odd tone, that almost sounds "too" natural if that makes sense, which isnt bad, BUT it sounds different from the rest of the matching Pioneer speakers.

Huge. This thing is giant. You cant use this with a typical glass TV stand that most people have for their flat panel TVs. I managed to buy a bigger stand and was able to shove this thing on the bottom shelf, not the most ideal spot, but it works.

Other Thoughts: I bought the matching set of fronts, center, and rear because of the deal they were running when I bought the Pioneer receiver. It is a HUGE speaker. I am looking into a smaller profile speaker to replace it, but want it to somewhat match.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat center speaker

Pros: Excellent, clear voice from TV
Very good price
Rapid shipping

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Much clearer TV voice than from legacy hi-fi speakers.
My hearing is declining at 70, but this speaker delays the inevitable.
Appears to be discontinued by Pioneer, so order today.
Large for some furniture so measure.
Pioneer replacement (SP-C22) smaller and not quite as good sound from specs.

5 out of 5 eggsSounds fantastic

Pros: Sounds fantastic
Provides a very decent amount of bass

Cons: Big
Placement can be difficult as this speaker has an open-back design. This means you can't back it up too close to a wall (keep it about a foot away).

Other Thoughts: Since this is a full range speaker, it should generally not be paired with "small" speakers as this speaker can overpower the others a bit.

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints

Pros: Nothing I can complain about for its price, even if you don't catch the best sale. I also appreciate the solid covers instead of cloth since I have pets.

Cons: No complaints.

Other Thoughts: Was out of Stock for about 8 months and I waited too long last fall when putting my surround system together.

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful Center Speaker

Pros: This Center speaker is great. The sound quality is a huge upgrade from my home theater in a box setup. This center speaker is HUGH. It's much larger then it looks in the pics. I made room for it especially at the $50 price I paid. It does need several hour to break in but that is common with all new speakers out of the box. Mr. Andrew Jones hit the nail on the head with this speaker. Money will spent.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Make sure you have room if your upgrading from a small home theater in a box setup.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Stuff

Pros: Clear, nice power, gets the job done without question.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Great speaker for the price. Would recommend for those with smaller areas for their sound system. Great clarity, nice range, decent power.
Ideal budget system speaker. No joke

5 out of 5 eggsDefinitely big

Pros: Sounds great, looks great, does not distort, has dedicated tweeters and mids.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: This is big. Look at size specs before buying if space is a problem for you. It cuts the picture if your TV is on its stand and you place this in front of the TV.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Sounding but big box

Pros: excellent sound in price range

Cons: size might a problem in small space

Other Thoughts: The 5.1 set is a 2011 best sound award (SP-PK21BS)
You may buy 5.1 set-up by buying separate speakers
((manufacturer date is April 2012))
The size is no problem for me
