3 out of 5 eggsOn the fence with this one.

Pros: Thin, flat, inexpensive, amplified, resonably long wires.

Cons: Reception is at best spotty. I can get in any channel I want but never all at the same time. If I were to point the antenna in a certain direction any ONE station can be picked up... good luck living like that. Amplification does have an effect on how strong an individual channel performs.

Other Thoughts: Unless I can find a spot for the antenna where all channels (or even most) come in well, this is a bust.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy

Pros: Nothing other than being flat

Cons: Does not work! I have tried numerous locations, heights, directions, with and without amplifier with no luck. I can get one channel and it is so snowy it can't be watched. I built an antenna from coat hangers and a piece of 2x4 and it worked reasonably well. I should have built it first rather than waste the money this product.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Antenna

Pros: Very flat, skinny, picks up channels where my other antenna didn't.

Cons: I haven't seen much use for the power adapter yet.

Other Thoughts: Before this antenna, I had a $10 antenna from biglots hooked up, the best reception I could pick up was while I had its power hooked up and it doesn't compare to this antenna lying flat under my Vizio TV with no power, it get's much better reception. Why pay for cable when you could stream everything on a Roku box and watch local TV with this antenna? Cable bill is internet only now and I'm saving an extra 70 dollars a month.

5 out of 5 eggsFlatenna

Pros: Versatile ways to set it up (hang, prop up or lay flat), receives a lot more channels that what I was getting from the basic rabbit ears I had before.

Cons: Coax cable could have been a little longer to make sure it can get farther from the TV or interfering sources.

Other Thoughts: I haven't used the amp yet, but the antenna by itself works great! Best placed in a window while using indoors. I put white cardboard from a motherboard box over mine so it wouldn't stand out.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light-weight, super easy set-up, logical price, a great way to tell over priced Comcast thieves to drop dead.

Cons: This antenna just did'nt work fantastic right from the start. I had to fiddle around with numerous positions to finally find a " Magic Spot " up high on the west wall behind the Toshiba LED/LCD TV. Amplifier makes an apparent WORLD of difference in sucking in digital OTA signals. On windy days the reception goes to HECK ! Don't know why this is but I have signal drop-outs, pixelation, audio/video stuttering and repeated ' Signal quality low ' messages on the screen. Oldest son has the non amplified version of this RCA antenna and he warned me of the Wind Problem !

Other Thoughts: Be patient with this RCA flat antenna, goof around with it for a while, some odd-senseless position may just be perfect for it's performance to come alive. I like to unplug the amplifier A/C plug-in while TV is not going to be used for several hours, just makes me feel better knowing it's not just sitting there running for nothing.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: With other HD antennas, I've had interference issues when people walked between the antenna and the signal source. I haven't had any of those issues with this one.

Cons: I can't really think of any, although I haven't used the signal booster.

1 out of 5 eggsvery weak reception

Pros: cheap. easy to set up

Cons: many over the air channels (standard or digitial) are too weak. I live only 20 miles away from the station (ABC, CBS or PBS). I guess will switch to Dishnet work once I move

1 out of 5 eggsDon't try this one

Pros: None that I can find. It is flat.

Cons: Absolute waste of time. My previous OTA antenna picked up 13 channels. In 5 separate attempts, channel scans, etc. the most I ever achieved was 4 channels. This product came nowhere close to the descriptions and reviews that I read.

3 out of 5 eggsNot impressed

Pros: Small, lightweight.

Cons: location, location, location. If not installed in an ideal location or your home is not in an ideal location you won't get any signals. The cords are somewhat inflexible which can be a pain to position it. The stand is useless due to this.

Other Thoughts: Barely picks up 1 channel. Signal drops constantly which makes trying to watch TV pointless. Live in a metro area.

5 out of 5 eggsworst commish of any pro sport ever

Pros: At an average distance from the towers picks up all channels very clear in the ground floor of a two-story house. Including some weird spanish cartoon show that as far as ive been able to tell shows DORA EL EXPLORA 24/7.

lets you get HD without paying extreme cable fees

Cons: Unfortunately, until the cable carriers go 'a la carte' I still have to pay a lot for good HD quality live sports. (CFB, occasional NFL game, Hockey when they aren't suffering through their 3rd lockout in 18 years all started by that midget who gets boo'ed into oblivion every time he gets his mitts on Lord Stanley's property.)

This has helped a lot of people cut the cord, just not me quite yet.

I guess the biggest con is this device not being able to fire Gary Bettman when plugged in. I guess I should have read the manual better.

The antenna does exactly what it's supposed to do and it does it well. I went from 0 channels to almost 25.
