Other Thoughts: This antenna can be used with or without an antenna cable. It requires no power. The radio I have does not have an AM radio antenna cable connection, so I have used it in the wireless mode. I was able to place the antenna right on top of my radio, which is an original Bose Wave Radio, and after tuning the antenna's dial and turning it a bit, the signal is very much improved. The antenna does work in wireless mode and I'm very happy with it.

Pros: before buying this i had horrible am signal, now it comes in clear

Cons: it's huge, bigger than you'd expect, even knowing it's large, figuring out where to put it is the hard part

Pros: I work in the middle of a a concrete building. AM reception was terrible to non existent.
The antenna really works I have a clear am signal.
Requires moving it around a bit on my desk to get best signal and radio in wireless mode must be right next to antenna.
I have a clear am channel with no disturbance quite amazing. PS I am using a low end Sangean radio SG 622.
I woder how great it will be with my GM super radio.
I will try that tomorrow.
