Today's multi-component home theater systems must excel at working with component including DVD and CD players, cassette decks, VCRs, and satellite or cable inputs not to mention radio programming. Sherwood's A/V receivers are star performers, easily switching between inputs and encoding formats to produce brilliant, accurate sound.
This review is from: Sherwood RD-7405 7.1-Channel A/V Receiver
Pros: HDMI inputs, 7.1 surround
Cons: 1. Extremely low S/N (signal to noise) ratio. Meaning, there is a ton of background noise you only become aware of if you use any external amp. I had to buy a noise gate because it was so obnoxious.
Other Thoughts: My subwoofer out port stopped functioning after about a year, luckily you can use the 2nd room function ports as a substitute.
