Pros: This thing is great. I have had it for 2-3 years and it just recently died. I wired the power directly to my 2005 Malibu's radio power wire so that it shuts off when I press the on/off button on the radio and also stays on as long as the radio is on (till the door opens). Way better than those cheapo wireless modulators. This thing pretty much gives you an AUX input. There is sometimes a slight static or hum but overall very good.

Cons: It died a couple of years after installation. Very disappointing that it would do that but I think it's worth it to get another one and reinstall.
Also, you may need a separate antenna wire for some vehicles.

Other Thoughts: Good for the price.

Pros: 110 output FM channels is a plus, as is the remote readout to tell you which one the modulator is out-putting on.

Cons: Would have preferred an on/off switch on the output channel select LED module rather than relying on a "standby" button in a remote that will undoubtedly get lost in my wife's car.

Other Thoughts: Installation is not for amatures. This is the 2nd FM modulator I've installed in mid-2000's model Malibus. These models require half of the dash board to be disassembled for a correct installation. However, wife has gone through two of the aux power port plug in ones in less than 2 years and was constantly complanining about a nearby car's transmitter bleeding over into hers. This hard-wire installation will definitely cure that complaint. I installed a separate rocker switch for power and mounted both the switch and LED channel selector display next to the traction control button in the center console. Looks like a dealer add on accessory.
