Other Thoughts: I bought these to replace other 6.5" marine speakers on my boat. These speakers are much larger and would require extensive fiberglass work to install. Unless you are replacing these same speakers, I wouldn't suggest them. The standard 6.5" speakers of many other brands are smaller, and installing these would force me to continue to buy these speakers when they deteriorate over time.
