5 out of 5 eggsno need for cds...ever again!

Pros: small size
great sound
has a remote

Cons: will only use a 4 gig or smaller capacity card,
sd card kinds hangs out from the edge so be careful.

Other Thoughts: can charge my cell phone and play music off my cell phone, mp3 player or an sd card. Great sound. You can use an sd or mini sd card with adapter, usb, or an included 3.5 jack to your device.
finding the right channel to give good sound is easy, if you have static just keep searching.
I have another one from Wagan and I like this one better.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't Buy This

Pros: Plays SD cards and has a remote.

Cons: You could hear fuzz noise from the frequency of the radio no matter what frequency you are in. The volume only goes up to 31 in my car for some reason and when you disconnect that frequency fuzz on the radio becomes a bigger fuzz to the point where you have to worry about your speakers. The buttons are to touchy and as trying to change the the song you accidentally press something else. Also the picture with the color display is not really in color it's black and gray just normal LED colors.

Other Thoughts: Just buy a cheap 10 one from that website you use to bid on things, wink wink, that is going to last longer than this and it's a bit better for the price. I actually had one before it gave up on me after two years and replace it with this inexpensive looking but expensive one.

2 out of 5 eggsLacking basic features, terrible UI

Pros: Inexpensive, sound quality adequate, accepts multiple inputs, can read directories, can skip non-music data, batteries in remote can be changed easily.

Cons: Has no fast forward or rewind, plays songs in fixed random order only (not quite random - in order of entry in FAT, but that's effectively random), and pause available only through the remote! In fact, if the remote dies you are sunk, it's pretty much unusable without the remote. Display is too dim to read. The entire surface is the push button so you have nothing to push against when plugging it in, and if you push the surface while plugging it in it jumps away from the song you were playing.

Other Thoughts: With a few slight design features this player could have been great. Put 4 buttons on the side and let one button be "mode" to cycle through what + and - work on - volume, channel, folder, song, position in song. Add a Play/Pause button, and have the device shut off if paused for a certain amount of time. Let the big display head be fixed and sturdy so you can use it to push in or pull out the device. Oh, and play tracks in alphabetical order not FAT order and/or allow playlists so we can choose what order to play songs. Also, the USB stick should stick up not to the side - I can't use the USB in 2 of my 3 vehicles because it makes the player too wide to fit.

1 out of 5 eggsTotally useless

Pros: Nothing really, and that's not really a stretch.

Cons: Mine came sort of dead. Screen very dim, FM transmission to radio almost nil. Also it doesn't fit well and the screen doesnt tilt (but it was dead anyway).

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: works with an sd card and usb flash drive. Has folders and LCD display to show you what song is playing. has a remote

Cons: When plugging in with headphone jack sound only comes out of the right side. If you move the cable around to a near impossible to find position it will come out of both sides. I tried a different cable and got the same result. EQ dosn't work very well and it's annoying to mess with. Can't scan within songs, you can only skip songs or folders. Remote is low quality plastic and takes 5 button pushes to get it to do what you want. Can't connect to an android phone or Sansa player.

Other Thoughts: Dosn't read main music folder on Android 2.2. Also dosn't work with a Sansa. Needless to say I wouldn't buy another one and will only keep this one because they won't accept it back for a refund. I guess I'll just keep it and drop an SD card into it to get it to work like I want and deal with the rest.

5 out of 5 eggsAbove and beyond of expected. Love it!

Pros: - Love the ability to play music off SD and USB. Its easy to transfer music over and quick.
- Affordable

Cons: - I bought it for my GF and cause her CD busted... Now I'm kinda forced to listen to her music again.
- NONE! Its actually above and beyond what I expected for the price. No issues yet and have had it over month or two already giving it consistent abuse.

Other Thoughts: Its a great affordable way to get mp3's playing while on the road. If you're looking to up your music collection in your car its an awesome option.

2 out of 5 eggsLook Elsewhere. nothing special.

Pros: Compact, accepts high capacity SD (16 gig micro SDHC with standard size SD adapter), easy to use, reads SDs -very- fast, almost no delay from plugging an SD in and it playing files.

Cons: -EXTREMELY low bass output to my car stereo in comparison to my aging Belkin transmitter.
-No ability to efficiently browse artists/albums, it uses "+folder and -folder" so prepare to search a LOT to find the songs you like if you have a large library as I do.
-Back light is almost useless
-EQ is terrible (pre-set EQs that all make things sound worse)
-Line-In on mine did not work with my Sansa Fuze, it just distorted all over the place and am not sure why.

Other Thoughts: Not a con, but feels rather flimsy. But for the price it is to be expected. While also for the price, it isn't a horrible product, it does it's function albeit not exactly well. I would suggest investing a bit more into a similar device that can output better sound quality.
