5 out of 5 eggsNot too shabby

Pros: Cheap
Has Aux port
Has USB charge port (verified it will charge iPhone5)
Has remote
Decent features for the next to nothing price
Five stars for price vs. performance over a factory chevy stereo.

Cons: Face is very light and could possibly break very easy.

Other Thoughts: I bought this simply to replace the factory 'thing' in my chevy. I don't listen to the radio, only mp3s from my phone. I needed a 3.5 jack and the usb was a bonus. It works great and has more power than the factory stereo. It cost my 3x as much to install as the stereo cost but I'm jamming my tunes now. I would NOT practice detaching the face very often as I feel that is the weakest point for failure.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: I got it for the AUX port so i could jack in my phone and listen to my entire music library. Works great, i did have a professional install it though so i didn't expect any. I didn't expect to use the USB charger as much as i do, its so handy i bought another charge cable to keep in my car.

Cons: None really, the install + installation kit + wiring harness was more than the unit but hey it works great so no egg deduction.

Other Thoughts: I read the other reviews before buying about the static noise and sub par sound but have not experienced either with this unit, i bet they installed it themselves, just saying.

1 out of 5 eggsNot happy

Pros: Looks decent, AUX and USB(Charge)

Cons: Buttons seem fragile, no power antenna wire, weak bass, lots of interference.

Other Thoughts: Buttons seem a lot less durable than my previous Clarion which I loved, and paid the same for. There is no wire for automatic car antennas so I had to splice the remote wire/bass wire/antenna wire all into one. The bass(through subs) sounds odd on this unit, very unnatural compared to other stereos. I can hear inference on all sources, might be due to the splicing -- will be looking into it shortly.

I've bought a lot on Newegg and this is the first item I've ever given such a bad review. It's too expensive and too low quality to get anything but 1 egg.

Cons: you can only play cetain type of cd, you can't burn a cd and listen to it. when you insert the cd it would just eject it out.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, Cheap Stereo System

Pros: I used this to replace my stock radio.
It's a lot better. For the amount I paid, I'm quite impressed.
Everything works exactly as advertised.

Cons: I wish it could read MP3-CDs. AUX input gets a little bit distorted at really high volumes.

5 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: Cheap, 50w x4 is nice. I dont know why this stereo has bad reviews. I've had this for about 10 months and it still works perfect. Ive got this and a fosgate amp and sub hooked up to it. Also alpine 6x9s on a polk audio amp. Its a lot clearer than my friends who paid twice as much for his.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: You cant upgrade your stereo and expect your stock speakers to sound amazing.

2 out of 5 eggsLooks good... That's about it.

Pros: The dot matrix LCD and the blue backlighting looks really good.

Cons: - Radio signal is really weak. It has a "long distance" setting, which improves it somewhat, but you'll only hear FM static-free while sitting still.
- Really weak bass. I had the original manufacturer's (GM Delco) console in my car before this, and it provided much, much stronger bass and overall loudness.
- It may accept iPods, but the controls don't work. I've got a 2nd gen iPod Touch, and I cannot control it with the console, only through the iPod itself.
- According to Best Buy, who no longer sells Dual, the console's CD player breaks down after just a few weeks. I've not used it long enough to find out, nor do I listen to CDs much.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend it, or any other Dual product.

4 out of 5 eggsImpressed

Pros: 1. Very Fast Delivery
2. Radio performs flawlessly
3. Lights up like a Christmas tree, but the blue color isn't very harsh on the eyes at night.
4. Auxiliary output plays my iPod while the USB charges it. (Also charges my cell which is a plus for when I get in the car and realize my phone is dead.)
5. The price is unbeatable

Cons: None so far, fingers crossed

Other Thoughts: Typical installation. If you don't know much about installing and wiring stereos, do yourself a favor and have a friend or expert help you out and watch carefully.

2 out of 5 eggsWeak

Pros: Easy to setup, does everything it is suppose to like radio, cds, auxiliary port.

Cons: Music is just plain. Weak Bass. This unit failed to exceed in performance when compare to my old sony 40 x 4 cassette player. Also, the blue screen display is too bright at night. The Auxilary port sound is dimmed so I have to crank up the volume compare to CD and Radio. Returning to newegg!

Other Thoughts: I got this stereo from shell shocker for X amount and after 3 weeks, its price is X + 5 dollars...? seriously, shell shockers are a way to generate sales and that is it.

now where is that kid with my latte ?
