This high performance HDMI switch can easily switch three sources to one display. It not only has the key-press-switching function, but also has intelligent function. With one fixed HDMI cable (pigtail) this converter not only reduces cost but also save time for consumers.

All inputs accommodate the connections of the high definition video sources simultaneously, compatible well for HD-DVD, SKY-STB, PS3, Xbox360 etc. The output sends the high definition audio/video signals to a high definition display.

  • newegg 1080p-compatible HDMI With three built-in HDMI outputs (1080p compatible), the Cables Unlimited SWB-7863 provides the most advanced method of transmitting standard, enhanced, or high-definition video and multi-channel digital audio.

3 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: Low profile. No external power supply needed. Has a button to switch input manually when needed.

Cons: Sometimes it doesn't work automatically. Short cord (20").

Other Thoughts: I'm using this to switch between my Blu-Ray player and PS3. Sometimes when I switch on a unit this HDMI will only allow a fuzzy snow screen to show. The fuzz-snow screen blinks sometimes to. I just use the manual input button to scroll through the inputs, and then everything works fine. Good device.

Pros: Didn't last long enough to merit pro comments.

Cons: Failed after three months of intermittant use. Not worth the time or effort. I'm not sure I'll trust other Cables Unlimited products based on the shoddy work on this one.

1 out of 5 eggsPRODUCT FAILURE

Pros: Good idea with auto switching ports.
LED indicator lights for active port.

Cons: About a third of the time the unit auto switched to the port of the newest turned on item, no audio would pass through, only video. resolved by manually pressing the button to cycle the ports switch.

Other Thoughts: It would be a great item if it actually functioned as designed, and had a reasonable life span.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Like a Charm

Pros: All you have to do is plug in the cables and forget about it. It does what it's supposed to do flawlessly. It has never failed to automatically switch to the last powered up HDMI source. Picture quality is as good as a direct connection.

Cons: Not a thing

Other Thoughts: If you need to share an HDMI input you can't go wrong with this automatic switch.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcited!

Pros: Fast shipping, well-packed. I was not sure how this auto-switching would pan out but once I installed it and gave it a whirl between my blu-ray player, XBOX and Divx player I must I am fascinated and very pleased. Previously I was using the Phillips manual switchbox which was terrible.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: New Egg is my only source for my electronic toys. You can never be wrong in purchasing from here.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes exactly what it says

Pros: I have an LCD with only one HDMI port(what were they thinking?), so this device gave me what I needed : Xbox360 and Cable TV with HDMI. The priority setting is great, whenever my 360 turns on it automatically switches itself from TV.

Cons: It is a bulky device on a short cord. Either lengthen the cord or remove it altogether! Red LED is annoyingly bright.

Other Thoughts: Good product for a good price. Maybe check into a model that comes with a remote control though.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: None.

Cons: Didn't work for me at all. No signals were able to pass through it. I tried plugging in to my receiver and when that didn't work, to the tv. Also tried bypassing the receiver in case that was the problem. I couldn't get anything to pass through it. Without it, all worked, with it, no picture or sound.

Other Thoughts: I didn't save the packaging so I can't return it. I hope I just got a bad one. I still need a switcher that works. Maybe a powered one would be better. Not sure I want to buy one after this experience.
