Pros: After trying and tossing several varieties of VHF/UHF antennas, I was skeptical this would be any better but I am pleasantly surprised. Living in a fringe reception area, at best I typically got 2 or 3 channels without adjustment, now I get all 9 channels in my area, and only need to occasionally physically adjust antenna orientation.

Cons: Its big and ugly. Sorry. However the silver matches my bright pink paint nicely, so its not that bad.

Pros: None.

Cons: The power adapter and amplifier connectors are a hassle, the advertised range of 30 miles ONLY applies to channels 14-69 and even then require line of sight. I genuinely get better reception using a simple fm wire antenna and and an amplifier. Very cheap plastic construction.

Pros: easy assembly, clear instructions, minimal tools needed. And it works. Using a variety of amplified antennas, I have had abysmal results. Many neighbors have succumbed to cable simply because over the air tv in our neighborhood is problematic with an indoor antenna, and few wanted to go through the hassle of an external one. Be happy with a few channels, and rent a lot of DVDs. Wrong. I get em ALL! all 22 channels available in my city, even the wierd channels. UHF, VHF, who cares? I gottem. For the first time since I ditched cable.

Cons: its kinda ugly, a big long gray plastic whatizzit on a shelf above the TV.

Pros: This antenna drastically improved my reception. Easy to assemble.

Other Thoughts: I live in suburban Detroit, on the wrong side of a hill covered with trees. The result is that I am plagued with multipath issues. I replaced the rabbit ears on top of my set with this antenna, and also moved the antenna up to the second floor of the house (though still inside). This made a HUGE difference. About 10 channels were available using rabbit ears, the combination of the new antenna and moving it upstairs increased reception to 18 channels, many were unexpected. I did not need to fine tune the direction as some people have mentioned, using antennaweb to find the general direction of transmitters, I aimed it more-or-less that way and it worked.

I understand the comments that some have made about assembly instructions, but it really wasnn't that bad.

Pros: Since it almost entirely plastic, it is light weight.

Cons: It doesn't even receive the channels available within 20 miles!

Other Thoughts: Worthless!! I bought it to, hopefully, bring in 2 additional channels for my Mother's TV. Not only is this antenna a cheap piece of plastic, it actually reduced the number of channels she could receive from 14 to 8. And the 14 channels she did receive was from using a cheap set of non-amplified rabbit ears. This item is not worth paying a dime for!

Pros: Looks great, built solid, excellent signal. As a television service provider, I have seen lots of indoor antennas, and few, if any, work as well as this one.

Cons: The cable that screws into the bottom of the antenna is a little small; it probably loses ~1-2 DB of your total signal.

Pros: I live on the ground floor of a 3 story, semi detached brick. On the other side of the alley is a tall brick wall of the adjacent 3 story building. I get 1080 signal with crystal clarity plus new channels I didn't have with basic cable.

Cons: You'll have the same weather related issues as you would with satellite TV. Except you can wiggle the antenna can maybe get lucky to pick up the signal again. The major stations the signal stays strong even in bad weather, you get some loss but it's ok for something that's free.

Other Thoughts: Left to right, the antenna takes up a lot of space, have an idea of how you will place it ahead of time, keep in mind you'll need to run cables for power, ant in, an out.

Pros: Good reflected signal reception. Easily hidden, at least on my bookshelf! Picks up all the main stations and many new ones over my rabbit ears.

Cons: Is large and if you don't have a bookshelf near a window you may have to look at it. It would be hard to aim in some applications.

Other Thoughts: It works for me. Be aware that this is a long'ish antenna and depending on your situation it may be hard to hide. I don't mind the look but I am glad I can hide it. If you can swing it Winegard has an antenna for about 90 that can be indoor or outside. I considered it but went with this one with no regrets. However the other one may be better in some applications.

Pros: It is somewhat easy to assemble.

Cons: It can't stand on flat surface because there's a thick coax cable coming out from the center of its base. There are no mounting holes so you can't put it on the wall.

I don't know why people say it looks good. It's huge and requires 3 (!) coaxial cables to work and takes up space. The coax cables are stiff and very hard to manage/hide. Plus, they're short enough that you can't really position the antenna well.

It doesn't improve reception! I have a "toy" antenna that came with my USB TV receiver and it receives almost as many channels. What gives?

Other Thoughts: Bought this a while ago and finally decided to give it a review (I am throwing the thing out). Not worth a buy. All the people saying that this doesn't improve reception are right. What a waste of my money :/
