N/A 3/31/2010 5:49:29 PM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Only Option. Pros: Now I have Tivo & Netfix in my bedroom & guest room. Cons: I could have bought a wireless N adapter for less than 20 but thanks to Tivo I am stuck with G for $50. Other Thoughts: It stinks that Tivo doesn't make a N adapter my guest room gets interference from the breaker box which causes the netflix quality to drop and the voices to get garbled sometimes. Using a phone line is impractical. Cons: Its sad that only the TIVO branded adapter works with TIVO, there should be a lower priced alternative. Other Thoughts: Love my TIVO, way better than the cable box and cable box/DVR combo...Cable's DVR is bad and oftne their HDD freezes up so you end up losing recorded shows...TIVO is better! 0 out of 2 people found this review helpful. The video constantly in buffering mode. After I switch to wired connect, I have no issues at all. I'm pretty sure the wireless adapter is not fast enough for playing online video. I can get around 46-47Mbps during TiVo transfers, with a "good" signal. Cons: None other than the high cost for what it is. Branded proprietary stuff is way over rated. But that's not newegg's fault. Other Thoughts: I originally bought this at best buy, for twice as much. I then ordered it from newegg, and shipped it free of charge.
