Cons: Worst DVD/Bluray I've ever owned.

- Disk mount depression on tray so small you have to be very careful to load disk or you scratch it as it slides around.

- "Stop" button is the only way to memorize location on disk and it only works about half the time.

- Will not play subtitles that my other 2 old DVD players play just fine.

- Remote button response is terrible. You have to press and hold a button on the remote for about 2 seconds sometimes before the player responds (this is from 6 ft away).

I'll NEVER buy Samsung again!

Pros: nice, slick design, capacitive buttons, doesn't get as hot as my old dvd player, hdmi out, great price

Other Thoughts: I had to replace my old dvd player, and I found this on newegg. I purchased it based on newegg reviews since it was a refurbished unit and I have to say I'm impressed. Maybe I got lucky, but my unit is not as loud as some others reviewers poated, it's actually much quieter than my old, now replaced sony dvd player. I like the USB in, so far it reads all my media content.
As soon as I powered the device it updated itself with a newer software version.
It eaaily handles NETFLIX over the WiFi connection (I had a wifi n setup), no glitches and so far buffering happened only once during a 1:30 mins movie, but I think it had to do with my router and not with the player itself. The picture quality over wifi is great also.
They also have a remote control app in the Google play store, but is not compatible with newer phones (hd resolution) like the galaxy s3 or htc one x. The remote app doesn't have a full qwerty keybord though, it's just like the remote itself with a trackpad.

Pros: Great for people who don't have a smart tv. Easy setup. I bought 2 and they work great.Price was great.

Pros: Great price. Easy setup. Works like a charm. Bought this for my wife for her birthday, and she loves it. Lots of apps on the menu to install. This is the second one that we bought, and both are going strong. Easy system updates with the Wi-Fi.

Pros: Ridiculously low price, was $69 with free shipping a couple of weeks ago...got it in just a couple of days or so, was double boxed and wrapped super well. Unit looked brand new including remote. Turned on, went through initial welcome screen setup, updated firmware with front facing USB port and works great. Immediately found my home wireless network and connected with no problem. Streams Netflix perfectly well.

Cons: Very lightweight, jet black high gloss finish is a finger print and dust magnet. Navigating with remote on Samsung apps website is a challenge to your patience... Player is somewhat sluggish to commands, but works OK.

Other Thoughts: For the price you really can't go wrong, plays blue ray & DVD's just fine...streams very well...not state of the art but it's adequate for me.

Pros: Works great with my Samsung 3D Smart plasma TV!. The remotes match each other mostly and the sync (TV to player) are automatic and smooth going. The wi-fi on player is easy to set up and had no issues at all. If you buy a WI-FI keyboard like mine (Logitech k400) is makes all the data entry/surfing ect. a snap compared to using the remotes cursor.
It does feel like an empty box weight wise and has a flimsy feel to the player. It is only the outside of it tho and works great on the inside. It does retail for 150 at BB and I found a returned item for a discount and I am glad I bought it or it would have been returned. Also, if Samsung made any other 3D Bluray players I would liked to have tried them out as well.
Bottom line is if you have a Samsung TV and want matching components and need the Smart aspect of this player it is a must have. On another note, if you own a dumb TV and want smart technology on your entertainment center, then any smart player is a must.

Cons: Flimsy and lite feeling case made with plastic.
Maybe they should go back to all steel cases to avoid bad reviews based on plastic being used. It does scratch easy to.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it came with wireless keyboard.
Go look at one in person is always a good idea and the shop else where if you want to "try" to save money.
I would by it again and recommend it.

Pros: Nice looking with a smooth front and touch controls

Cons: Cheaply made. When I took off the protective clear cover I took off the drive door. What? It took me a couple of minutes to snap it on and it felt so cheap as if it was about to crumple just by holding it. Had issues and could not connect to my Windows Home Server Machine. I have another Samsung BD Player that can easily access it. Called support and wasted an hour or more. They were supposed to call me back and they never did. Horrible experience. I'm about ready to send it back.

Other Thoughts: Just as I was about to give up it was able to connect to my new WHS 2011 computer. Hmmm. But it cannot connect to the older WHS server.
