5 out of 5 eggsNot as pricy as you think

Pros: I picked up this mount to raise my 28" HannsG above the desktop. I paid approx. $100.00 about 1 year ago. It is very sturdy, heavy and solid. Silver, instead of black, was also a plus for me.

This is, by far, the best mount I have used. It has sagged approx 1/4 inch from the original heirght, but I made a 1/2 inch allowance for the eventual gravity sag. No disappointment at all.

I just rearranged my office and had to move it. A bit of a chore, but not as difficult as I anticipated. I did not try to remove the plastic cap on the swivel (too hard to get off!), but removed the nut from the swivel joint closest to the VESA mount. This enabled me to slide the monitor off the arm and replace it when I got it positioned on the other wall.

Cons: The previous reviewer is correct, the cable management is not really for VGA or DVI cables, works fine with HDMI.

Also, if you move your monitor alot, like I do, keep your socket wrench handy to loosen the nuts periodically - they will tighten themselves with the motion.

Other Thoughts: I priced all the various mounts out there. For the price (on sale, especially) this one is the lowest cost for the high quality you receive. It articulates to many configs and tilt is fully adjustable.
Bottom line - I like it!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Mount, but Costly

Pros: Very sturdy. Does not flex/warp/sag when at full extension, as cheaper arms do. Doesn't seem to loosen over time. Easy to mount and adjust.

Cons: Cost. As far as I can tell, this is exactly the same as the AM2, at almost twice the cost. Not sure why that model was discontinued for this one.
The plastic caps covering the adjustment bolts are difficult to remove - I use a flat head and a hammer. You only need to do this once, though.
The cable management is almost useless if you're using VGA or DVI cables.

Other Thoughts: Would give five eggs if not for the cost. We've installed dozens with no issue.
