Annoying beep, Negative tip, Poor documentation
Pros: Lots of station presets. Quiet button operation. You have the option of switching to monophonic for using a monaural earphone.
Cons: When an earphone is inserted, there are two situations when the radio still emits a loud beep through its speaker: When a station scan reaches the end of the frequency band; and when you push the Time/Frequency button. This is really annoying to others who don't want to be disturbed. Also, the user manual has minimal info and fails to tell you how many amps are needed for an AC adapter, or what size the adapter plug needs to be. (Size N worked at a local shack). Also, it doesn't pull in stations as well as my Sony portable.
Other Thoughts: Be careful when buying an AC adapter to make sure the adapter has a negative tip. Look for adapters with reversible tips.
