5 out of 5 eggsWorld Wide Stereo Rocks

Pros: This is to follow up on my last review. The speaker are great I have to admit these are big, giant speakers that sound amazing. I am in true heaven, now that they are a little more broke in. After fiddling around with everything, I had moved them a couple times to get the best quality sound. Out of my 7.1 system. now I'm a happy. camper. These are rear ported speakers they need allot of room behind them. I now have them almost 3ft from the wall that works great. I had them too close before and the base suffered.

Cons: A little heavy to move around, they don't make popcorn while I'm watching movies.

Other Thoughts: World Wide Stereo really came through for me in the end. My hats off to E. C. there you are the man thank you so much. World Wide Stereo and Newegg a great team. You can't go wrong!!

4 out of 5 eggsBig Heavy Damaged

Pros: These speakers are very well made heavy, and solid, corners and seems are tight as can be. I really like the magnetic grille covers. Makes it a breeze to show off the copper woofers and large horn. I wasn't expecting the sonic difference between the F-30 and these. Amazing base, the horns sound amazing. The vinyl black ash looks nice and blends nicely into my family room. The feet are copper plated with the rear sticking 2in out past the speaker adding additional stability. The feet are nicely made with a rubber o-ring for vibration thees are tall speakers. They also come with (4) spikes that will keep them in place in the deepest of carpet. I'm not utilizing the spikes my floors are hardwood. When you close your eyes listening to music it's like the band is in the room with you.

Cons: When these speakers arrived the boxes were in tough shape. After opening the boxes the Styrofoam packing that keeps the speakers centered within the box was in pieces. The do not open end of the box was compressed to less than a 1/2 inch. One of the speakers had a chipped corner about 1/2 in broken off not in the box. I live within driving distance of to World Wide Stereo so I thought I could do a return at their brick & mortar store. NOPE can't do that, what was I thinking. You have to take pictures and ship them back, fill out a damage form then deal with the shipper to replace the damaged one. takes 3 weeks to complete the exchange. Thanks UPS I think you must have dropped these off your truck.

Other Thoughts: Newegg shipping these out was great. received them in (4) days they shipped from somewhere in the mid-west. If I had it to do over again I would have saved the hassle and bought them from a store close by.
Shipping one of thees back to World Wide Stereos warehouse is a little over $65.00 slow boat shipping. I hired a furniture repair guy who lives down the street who fixed the chip for $50.00
To my old ears these things sound amazing once you get them placed properly. You will need at least 12 ft between your F -82 II speakers and at least 2ft from the back wall. (They are rear ported)
These things get loud quickly sips the wattage. If you plan on utilizing these for a sound stage for movies make sure you purchase a large center speaker. Or your vocals will get lost at lower volumes.

5 out of 5 eggsNothing better but the RF83's

Pros: Great power handling at a reasonable limit giving you a variety of amp choices without breaking the >700$ price point.

Cons: They are heavy, but that attributes to tight bass.

Back firing vents. Need 6-18" between the wall and speaker.

Other Thoughts: I can honestly say I have never heard a better sounding speaker. Paired with a HK3490. It makes 5.1/7.1 HT Box systems sound like transistor radios. Incredible reference sound, endless depth and clarity!

If your sitting in a couch the highs are about 1-2" above ear level. The RF83's would be a better choice for a standing room.

5 out of 5 eggsThey just don't know when enough is enough!!

Pros: For 4 years I have these speakers bi-amped connected to a VSX-84 Elite receiver. They are hands down the sweetspot of the Klipsch RF lineup. Excellent bass, Excellent mids and highend. Imaging is also excellent. U are not going to find a better speaker out there in this price range. They travel well to. LA to Africa to the Middle East!!! They are some bad $## speakers

Cons: Heavy....Very heavy

Other Thoughts: You must connect these to a clean amplifier to get the sound the designers intended. Don't whine and put less than 5 eggs cause you skimped on the amp!! These speakers rock hard!!!
