5 out of 5 eggsCame back to life

Pros: Great little system for general office use while it works.

Cons: Integrated sound is pretty bad. So is integrated video if you're going to stream online. Not horrible, but there's no way to adjust the sound EQ. So I bought a cheap GFX card and a Xonar by ASUS for sound and all of my issues were resolved.

Other Thoughts: This thing died on me after just a month. The way I fixed it was to pull out the memory and reinsert it. Then she fired right back up.

Cons: so far I have none, but I wasnt going to mess around so I purchased a one year warranty for 50 bucks

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 1 month

Pros: Hopefully the license can be reused on my next build. If so then it's not a total loss. The 80 GB HDD isn't horribly slow for a mechanical drive.

Cons: Died just after 30 days. Blue screened and then started making some terrible beep codes. I gave this thing 5 stars originally because it was a decent performer with a few minor upgrades. Loved the case too. But it lived a very short life.

Other Thoughts: The hardware is all proprietary. So the case can't be used in another build.

4 out of 5 eggsGood value but not for faint of heart

Pros: Looks brand new, started up fine

Cons: Administrator Account was disabled and there was no other account. Had to boot into safe mode with command prompt and do "net user administrator /active:yes" to get into windows.

Other Thoughts: Can't go wrong with Dell business class IMO.

5 out of 5 eggsGood little machine

Pros: Inexpensive. Plenty of power for the price. Windows 7. 80 GB hard drive is decently fast. Very, very, very quiet system. Can't tell it's on.

Cons: Onboard sound isn't great. Okay for music. Netflix streaming is "okay", but the sound isn't great. I'm using Logitech Z323s. No EQ with Windows 7. Optical drive was DOA. No biggy.

Other Thoughts: Case is a Dell, so no upgrading the motherboard in the future. Bought an inexpensive Sound Card upgrade to make Netflix watchable with these speakers. Bought an nVidia 210 GFX card to improve streaming quality. 4 SATA inputs and 1 eSATA. 305 Watt PSU. No molex connectors on the PSU. More than 4 drives would require a new PSU with more connectors. Only 3 spots for standard 3.5" drives anyway.
