Pros: What a beautiful machine, shame it won't come on.

Cons: As has been experienced by others, machine is dead, won't turn on, screen only says no signal.

Asus support is useless, no real technical aid at all. No Reseat the memory , unplug/replug internal video. Clear power, reset CMOS,...NOTHING!!

Other Thoughts: Sure hoped the unit would have been reliable. Seems like a Pipe Dream now. Good thing they offered me "courtesy" shipping, after I called and demanded they pay to ship this beast. LOL, acting like he is going out of his way, bending over backwards. Now if it arrives to Asus and Fedex had damaged the machine, I get to eat it. What a joke. What a sad sad joke.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away! One big $2000 mistake.

Pros: Beautiful design, screen is brilliant and responsive, Tech support team is very patient with upset customers, customer service reps don't get combative when you yell, RMA program is well vetted and procedures extremely consistent, Service managers available on Sundays!

Cons: I purchased this unit in August of 2013. Since then it has been RMA'd 3 times and i have only had it in my possession for a total of 6 weeks. The first error occurred when it refused to wake up from sleep one day. If you unplugged it and plugged it back in the screen would read "No signal from Computer" then turn off. I RMA'd it and they "lost it" for a little while. Once it finally returned from RMA the screen had been damaged internally (no exterior damage from shipping). The person working on it torqued it so hard he had damaged the rear of the screen: Second RMA. This RMA went a little faster but when I got the machine back and booted it up the sound was horrible. It was like you had replaced the chassis fan with one of the fans they use to dry out basements after a flood. I could hear the fans from the next room. The unit would no longer sleep and ran like it was 10 years old. I got to work flashing and updating the BIOs, updating video card drivers, updating windows, making sure everything was up to par and exhausting a comp sci degree's worth of knowledge trying to make the thing calm down. Nothing helped. I did some diagnostics and after 3 minutes the computer CPU went to 99%, the disk use went to 99% and the energy consumption hovered between 90 and 99% (130 watts). When it hit this point, when typing, the script would be a sentence behind. That's horrifically slow by today's standards.

I called back in for my 3rd RMA and insists I not get the same machine back as I didn't pay $2000 for a 3 times refurbished machine that I am yet to actually use. They sent me to a manager and I got 20 minutes of "Mmm humm, yes sir, I am listening to you and I understand where you are coming from." But after much lip service they are going to have me ship it back, they are going to rip it open again, and i am going to have a nice new RMA number stickered to the back of it. As someone in the Comp Sci field i had a great deal of respect for ASUS. This has shattered my faith in the entire company. I appreciate their promptness in answering the phones and their eagerness to have the unit RMA'd and serviced, but there comes a time when some human at that company needs to realize that this is a piece of junk and do what they can to make things right. Biggest con with this machine. YOU CANT JUST FIX IT YOURSELF!

Other Thoughts: Unless a miracle happens and someone at the company is willing to swap this machine with a new one, or offer me a different product in its stead, I , my customers, my friends, my family, my employees, my peers and colleagues, and anyone within ear shot of my business will never own an ASUS product again.

Pros: Very simple to use. I like the large screen for opening more than one window at a time. I also like how fast the computer is and it is also very simple to use

Cons: I have one Con and that is that i have had it for about 2 weeks now and i only used it for about 3 hours over two days and now it has sat unused for about a week and I go back to it and try to turn it on and nothing happens. I have went through ASUS support troubleshooting and nothing has helped. I now have to try contacting ASUS to see what they will do for me.

Pros: Very awesome list of standard features.

Cons: Many operating issues.... external buttons not functioning, would not wake from sleep, wifi was very slow. After four weeks the system would no longer power up at all. The case is impossible to open up and make any quick diagnosis. Return shipping for warranty repair was $81.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased MANY ASUS components over the years and have been very happy, this is my first complete system and it will be my last. I have been a loyal DELL customer with absolutely NO issues over twenty years with more than a dozen systems and I have never had an issue and certainly never had to return a system for warranty work, I should have stayed loyal. I will not make that mistake again.

Pros: Has an fast processor, and a decently good GPU.

Cons: Comes without any documentation on how to open to replace parts. (memory, disks, motherboard battery, etc).
Mine came with a problem with the On Screen Diplay controls which pops at any moment covering the screen (at any time: working on Windows, while booting, on the BIOS), I'm still dealing with terrible support, you will have to deal with completely unhelpful people, unwilling to do their job and give a solution. So far I still have a PC that it is unusable.

Other Thoughts: Avoid this brand.
