  • newegg LG CINEMA 3D Enjoy easy to use & share 3D glasses (6 x of flicker-free 3D glasses were included, you can also use other compatible 3D glasses), superior picture quality and amazing 3D effects - that’s what you get with an LG Cinema 3D experience powered by LG's Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology. LG’s 2D-to-3D conversion feature can turn everything into larger-than-life 3D. Not ready for 3D TV yet? LG's 3D Ready HDTVs still deliver extraordinary color and crisp detail in 2D. With LG 3D Depth Control you have the ability to increase the 3D depth on your TV to provide more enhanced 3D effects. This LG TV is also equipped with 3D Sound Zooming to provide a greater level of sound immersion with 3D content. Gamers can enjoy two-player 3D gaming on one TV without the need for a split screen. Now two players can compete against one another independently and catch the action on a full screen (requires special glasses sold separately)!

  • newegg Prepare to be Dazzled Want deeper blacks and richer colors? LG's LED Plus technology provides even greater control of brightness through local dimming technology to deliver better contrast, amazing clarity and color detail, as well as greater energy efficiency compared to conventional LCD TVs.
  • newegg Less Blur. More Action. TruMotion 120Hz technology lets you see sports, video games and high-speed action with virtually no motion blur. Now your TV can keep up with your fast-moving entertainment.
  • newegg Double the detail This stunning picture is the reason you wanted HDTV in the first place. With almost double the pixel resolution, Full HD 1080p gives it superior picture quality over standard HDTV. You’ll see details and colors like never before. Resolution Upscaler enhances the resolution of original content to a higher resolution.
  • newegg Save More Than Energy Earning the ENERGY STAR means a product meets strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy. 4 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: - Great picture
- Great value (bought for $799 on ShellShocker)
- Great looks even when turned off (thin, silvery...awesome!)
- Smart remote is novel

Cons: - Smart remote is difficult to use when trying to type letters in. You have to point at individual letter, so any hand shaking is an issue
- Really brutal signal connection strength. It loses the connection almost every time when trying to run HD content via Plex. I just use a flashdrive to watch movies now because the Plex connection is so buggy. A shame...kinda defeats the Smart TV idea...

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent TV

Pros: If you read the positive reviews below, I would echo them. I used to sell TV's and have been to a lot of manufacturer's promotional events, I love this TV! I have two external powered hard drives plugged into this TV and it plays all my MM files. I also like the fact my cable remote doubles as a controller for the smart features. I even have the LG remote on my phone/tablet. The WiDi and networking works very well as well.

Cons: None really.

4 out of 5 eggsstunning quality

Pros: Smart features and 3d work way better than what I was expecting. Didn't think I would use these features at all but they have become part of our entertainment lifes. 2d - 3d conversion adds a lot of depth. But if you use a 3d format it as good as the theater, in fact you can even use theater glasses w this tv!

Cons: A small amount of light bleed through on a all black screen, but untotable with content playing. When you change inputs hovering magic remote pointer over new source is the only way to change it if you had powered off previous source. not too annoying but would be a great fix.

Other Thoughts: The remote is fantastic, all the above negative comments had me worried. but i can't imagine using my tv w/o it. Play w it a few days before judging.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: Great picture.
Quick start up.
Nice set of apps.
Very nice bezel and stand.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: This is my 2nd LG smart TV. I also own a 55" LM7600 and these are by far the best TV's I have ever seen. Thin design and decent network speeds. I suppose the blacks could be darker but that's the same on every TV I have ever viewed so it does not bother me at all. Best TV in it's price range for sure.

5 out of 5 eggsaverage/good TV

Pros: - Sleek design
- slim and lightwaight
- 3D works well with 3D content

Cons: 2D to 3D on the fly conversion is so so, the tv tries to make it 3D but can't fully make it.
- need time to get use to the remote and sometime it lag to respond
- Wish the Speakers were in the front and not the back (but I use a 5.1 surround sound system during movies so no problem)

Other Thoughts: Don't really use the apps (aka the smart tv things) since I have it connected to my ASUS Eee Box EB1501 and use it as a BIG monitor. Personally I only like the 3D if the content is in 3D not the 2D => 3D conversion
- The Magic remote is annoying but I mostly just use the power bottom and the volume on it

1 out of 5 eggsScreen arrived cracked!!

Pros: I cant use it...

Cons: There seems to be lots of damage to the screen which makes over half of the screen look black.

Other Thoughts: In my opinion the screen was cracked even before newegg got it.The worst part is that it was a present. I will be contacting newegg as soon as posibble. Hopefully I can get a replacement.

5 out of 5 eggsNice... Very nice

Pros: Impressive picture, Blu-Ray is outstanding detail and color quality. Smart interface is just that, very smart. On-screen keyboard with Magic Wand remote is very usable. Also plugged a wireless mouse and keyboard in and works great.

Cons: So light it might just fly away.... ;)

Other Thoughts: Might just buy a few more of these for my company in the next few weeks. Everyone that has watched it wants one.

2 out of 5 eggsNOT WIDI Compatible - Terrible Support

Pros: Beautiful design - decent picture - thin bezel is really awesome

Cons: LG falsely advertises this TV as being WIDI compatible - it is - as long as you never upgrade past Windows 7. LG refuses to update their firmware - and their customer support is the WORST I have ever experienced.

Don't expect to stream Hulu, you-tube, etc. through the web-browser - you have to use their subscription services for that - or WIDI - which is great, as long as you never upgrade your laptop.

LG provides ZERO support for these, so even though these are a 2012 model, features are already incompatible with modern networks/systems, and problems will get progressively worse.

Would NEVER purchase another LG product again - despite loving the TV -- the lack of support essentially turns your "smart" TV into a standard television in a matter of a year or so.

Other Thoughts: LG does well in the design department - their support is at best vague, and usually rude or sarcastic. They simply do not provide updates for their products, and will point to microsoft drivers, etc. But the problem is the TV's firmware needs to be updated. LG will not provide support.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: - 5GHz band WiFi support
- Sleek design
- Great remote
- slim and lightwaight

Cons: - Not ideal picture quality

Other Thoughts: Overall - awesome TV for the price (paid 800$). 3D is great, easy to play movies from my PC over network, fast and stable WiFi connectivity.
Picture is Ok for movies and most content. Meets my expectations.

I ended up buying 1 for home and 2 more for office use. Highly recommended.

4 out of 5 eggsnice

Pros: Best looking tv i ever had, both the picture and the tv itself. 3D works well with 3D content, but even the 2D to 3D does the job. I can play Skyrim in 3D without taxing my video card too much. Ain't worst than the Wolverine in 3D I saw I theatre anyway.

Cons: Smart tv is bad. It's slow, it's award, switching input takes forever and the magic remote is bad. I solved half the problems by downloading the android remote app on my phone. It's not just Lg's implementation of smart tv that is abs, smart tv are bad. Hook up a pc or an Xbox it will be better.

Other Thoughts: Works best with lg 3d blue ray player.
