4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: pretty decent tv for the price. has a pretty clean and crisp image. the colors are nice and vibrant. sounds is pretty good too. still a great product!

Cons: few minor things, when i turn the tv on about half the time the sound comes on but the screen doesnt i can turn it off and turn it back on and both come back on and its fine. the black is pretty good on it aswell i dont notice any backlit issues unless its real dark in the room and its a dark movie then i can see a little black lighting issues

Other Thoughts: comes with stock box, i think it was packaged alright but the manufacturer could package it a little better. not neweggs problem

1 out of 5 eggsStay Clear

Pros: Good pitcher when it working.

Cons: My room mate bought this TV a few months ago (But not from new Egg, and that was a mistake). After about 3 weeks it starting turning itself off after 2 to 3 hours of use.
He called support and they said he could ship it back and they would fix it but he would have to pay for the shipping.
After doing some research, it appears there is a known issue with the power supply's on the Olevia TVs. They are over heating and shutting down due to a factory defect. And they want the Customer to pay the shipping to repair they factory defect????

Other Thoughts: Extremely poor support, very unprofessional.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This TV is AWESOME! I bought it recertified and have had it for almost 5 months. Have it hooked up to the PS3 and Bluray looks Great! Have it set up in my dorm room and kids compliment on it all the time. I love it as a computer monitor also. No problems, and some find the menu difficult but it is not that bad once you start playing with it.

Cons: Going from HDMI to regular TV or SVideo etc., etc. requires you to go through all f the options instead of getting between them with just one button. Not really a big deal though!

Other Thoughts: I did about two months of research before finally settling on buying on this TV and I am confident that I got a steal for the price. I recommend this TV to anyone who is tight on cash but wants a very decent starter TV.

2 out of 5 eggsbad luck

Pros: love the tv the removable speakers make it look sharp and simple. great picture and the adustable stand height after the speakers are removed gets rid of the gap at the bottom

Cons: the tech support at olevia is for lack of a better word stupid. after 5 months one day the tv freaked out so i unplugged it and when it powered back up the screen was almost black but not quite completely gone. i tried ajusting the brightness and everything but nothin helped so i call them and they told me i needed a new main board for over 500 dollars. well i was not happy so i played around some more finally i ajusted the rgb ratios and noticed that they were all well below the middle so i pushed them up all the way to the mid point and everything is perfect

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Picture, Very Poor Warranty

Pros: Great Picture

Cons: The true test of a product is how good the warranty support is. Main board went out after 7 months. I've had so many "stories" from support, I'm sure one of them is true. Bottom line: TV down for a month and no resolution to warranty repair in sight. Just called to try to buy a mainboard so I can sell it and get a real TV, but almost 2 hours on hold just to purchase, gave up.

Other Thoughts: Too big for a boat anchor!

5 out of 5 eggsA Great Surprise!

Pros: Picture is amazing: extremely bright colors, HD is amazing, x360 looks great, PC looks great, firmware upgrade is a nice feature.

Cons: Turn on time is nerve wrecking but thats about it.

Other Thoughts: I did enough research to make myself sick, and went with a (kinda) off brand for a better price and bigger screen. I couldn't have been more happy with my decision!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price on a great product

Pros: Great picture quality. Using HDMI from DVD player allows raising some DVDs to 1080i which makes for a really, really good picture. Even the cable installers that brought out our HDTV cable box thought this TV was phenomenal.

Cons: The menu. You just have to wade through it when you set up.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this television even with the menu issue. You can't get close to the price point.

5 out of 5 eggsTwo Thumbs Up!

Pros: Picture quality, screen size, standard & wide screen format, basic setup, all get "Straight A's". With a little patience and the provided manual, even the menu option on the remote becomes second nature.

Cons: The delay with channel surfing took some time to get use to. I went from a 25" console that took no time to switch channels, to a TV that has to think before it can produce. This is the only "con" to this massive upgrade in home entertainment.

Other Thoughts: Olevia Tech Support - has much to be desired. If you call there's a bit of a wait to get someone on the line and the technician that I got was a tad snooty, definitely not a people person, "maybe he was having an off day!"

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: The tv is great, especially at this price tag. I've had absolutely no problems with it I didn't encounter firmware issues that other users have pointed out.

I've been using it for about 3 months and it's been great xbox 360 looks fantastic on it. I run my laptop off of the tv most of the time and if you're deciding between this and a plasma and you're planning to run a computer on the television or anything that has a static display a friend of mine bought a 42 in samsung plasma and has had burn in issues with it.

Cons: None in particular, it would be nice to have 2 hdmi inputs. It takes a second to start up but it has never bothered me.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic TV

Pros: For the money this has been just a fantastic TV, the image quality and features are great. If your looking for a nice size tv that wont break the bank and give you quality image then this is the one.

Cons: Slow power on (not really a con but i figured I would put something) Brand is still new so universal remotes dont usually have any codes.
