1 out of 5 eggsHappy till it went piff

Pros: Cheap, quiet, low rf effects to in home receivers, cooked well.

Cons: Lasted 15 months. The high voltage power supply and klystron went piff and started smoking.

Other Thoughts: Any voltage spikes on the power line will kill it and any voltage drops will skew it's brain; you have to unplug it and let all the capacitors drain down and then it works again. The high voltage parts are Chinese junk.

5 out of 5 eggsIt heats the food

Pros: It heats up our food very well. we have had it for a while now, over a year and it is still working and doing everything we need it to do. we have had a few give up on us in less that a year so we are happy with it. looks nice on our counter in our kitchen. it gets alot of use, we have 3 kids and their friends over almost 7 days a week. we have had a few food explosions in it and still just keeps going

Cons: stainless steal would match our kitchen better

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Microwave

Pros: GReat looking microwave. Works fine out of the box. sensor cooking works great! it cooks food more evenly than any other microwave I have owned. The clearance is a bit low but I can still fit all my dishes in it. IT cooks food faster than any previous microwave I have owned. I would definately recommend! New egg Fast shipping as usual!

Cons: Still working out the kink with Microwave popcorn. Doesn't seem to finish cooking the first bag completely with the pre program 3.5 oz setting. 2nd and 3rd bags are fine.. Needs to warm up?

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Product is working without a hitch so far. Microwaves food quick! I read a bunch of reviews on similar Panasonic inverter products and they all seem to say that the microwave fails after 2.5 - 3 years, so I got a warranty on it from square trade, hopefully I will never have to use it.

Cons: Clearance for the inside roof of the microwave is kind of low, and gives the impression that some large glasses will not fit, but they do. I have had the product for almost 2 months and now the button to open the microwave door only works properly when pushed in a certain sport; it's nothing major, but it's a disappointing flaw for a new product...

5 out of 5 eggsInverter vs. traditional warming

Pros: Inverter technology
Sensor technology
1.6 vs 1.2 for the same price
1250 watts vs 1000 or 1100 for the same price
PANASONIC technology
it was on sale
its black like my other appliances
lightweight unit
long cord
simple to use with only a few buttons to choose from

Cons: there is nothing i would change. its absolutely perfect.

Other Thoughts: I did alot of looking around before settling on the brand that also makes the best phones on in the world. this thing right out of the box made dinner faster, hotter, and more evenly heated than i have ever had. i purchased a $100 frigidaire a week ago and its no comparison at all. this thing is awesome. while i wrote this i hit sensor cook and made perfect breakfast sandwiches with perfect melted cheese. WOW A+

1 out of 5 eggsStopped working after first use

Pros: Looks good, has lots of room.

Cons: Used it one time, and now it says H98 which is likely a problem with the inverter.

Other Thoughts: First bad item from newegg and I've purchased thousands of dollars of stuff from here, so I'm not too disappointed. I just don't know if I should go through newegg or Panasonic to fix it?

1 out of 5 eggsFirst BAD Buy from New Egg

Pros: None, defective out of box.

Cons: Costs 40% of original price to return a defective item. Turntable not working.

Other Thoughts: Will think twice before buying a more then 10 lbs item, because I have to foot the bill for defective returns.

5 out of 5 eggsReplaced a ten year old workhorse

Pros: Very powerful, enough for very fast heating and cooking. True power levels, not just full power switched on and off, excellent to prevent drying out along the edges of foods. Plenty of options, including steam-sensitive timing, handy.

Cons: Not as tall as I would have hoped, I like to boil water in a two quart pitcher, which doesn't fit. Minor quibble, but do check the measurements of the otherwise fine cooking cavity. No one-botton operation, even quik-minute requires you to press the quik-minute button, then start. The LCD dispaly isn't the nicest, viewing angles are narrow.

Other Thoughts: What a difference this 1250 watt oven makes in speed and evenness of cooking over a 900w oven. I save mintues per use, which is very handy. I also like the power levels which allow me to melt chocolate and cook cream based sauces with much more confidence and less baby sitting, since they will not scorch or boil over at low power. Also, the programming is simple, be sure to carefully read the manual again, after some weeks of use, you will be amazed at what you can actually do in terms of flexible timing combined with the auto-cooking steam sensor. Recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsPanasonic

Pros: Great product @ a great price and best of all a realistic shipping fee! Item receive when promissed and works fine, I always trust Panasonic before other brand names, and now I trust Newegg.com for a honest deal.

Cons: This purchase went without a problem, I have no cons.
