5 out of 5 eggsThe wife loves it

Pros: I haven't used it personally but every time my wife uses it she comments on how great it is.
The reusable washable pads save money over the "cheap" throw away mop pads for other products.
Steam definitely cleans better than regular mop water.

Cons: None yet.

1 out of 5 eggsStay away.

Pros: Compared to other steam mops? Not one.

Cons: Do yourself a favor and do not buy this mop. Find a Haan steam mop and you will be happy for a long, long time. Shark products, specificially this steam mop are made cheap. The piece where the mop handle contects to the steamer on the bottom breaks OFTEN. They even sell replacement pieces because of how often their stuff breaks. STAY AWAY!

4 out of 5 eggsNifty little device

Pros: Its lightweight and seems to do a pretty good job of cleaning. It's really fun when you get it really steaming. You have to push the handle forward to activate it though so it there is a lot of "useless" back and forth motions. I have had issues with it cracking the grout in my kitchen floor though, not sure if its due to the shear temp or just the fact my grout wasn't water sealed correctly.

Cons: You can't find "scrubber" pads. By this I mean that it comes with cleaning pads and they are very soft and nice but they don't have anything that actually scrubs. So if you have food or something stuck to your floor, unless you can scrape it up before hand or want to continually make your steamer go off and on because of the back and forth motion it pretty much is useless against anything other than dirt. Atleast in my experience. One suggestion was to spray some chemicals on your floor, which really seems to defeat the purpose of having a steam mop if I can't use it "as is". Not really a con but No where in the description does it say that it is cordless So I don't know why one would make a big stink about it however the "quick release" is a little misguiding as it is simple a hook that turns so your cord falls out, just like most vacuums.

Other Thoughts: Overall its pretty good for general cleaning of hard surface floors but I wouldn't recommend for heavy duty cleaning. It's also nice if your a "Green" person as there is no chemicals involved other than those in your tap water.

2 out of 5 eggsJust another Gadget...

Pros: it Does make Steam...came damaged and NewEgg replaced it in less than a Week ( VERY FAST and Great Service)

Cons: I Expected more from this....it is just a Gadget that we will probably rarely EVER use. A Mop and Water will do the same thing..With the SAME amount of Effort and Hassle.
the mop is Ok Quality...Just a VERY expensive mop.

Other Thoughts: I would NOT buy this again..Or recomend it to others...as it does NOT do a better Job...Nor a Eaiser/Faster Job than a $10.00 mop would.

2 out of 5 eggsThis is NOT Cordless !!!

Pros: Seems to clean pretty well, not sure how long the pads will last or how much the refills cost yet though...

Cons: Since only 2 out of the 6 pictures show a cord on the unit and EVERY other steam mop lists the length of the cord except this one then you would think the cord is removeable and just used to charge it... That is the primary reason I chose this model and I think what really frustrates me is that it appears from the description and pictures that this is exactly what they want you to think. How deceiving!

5 out of 5 eggsWifes Christmas Present

Pros: works good - doesnt feel cheap
consumer reports give it good ratings
doesnt use a lot of water
you can see it work! massive amounts of steam comes out as you move over the floor... when your done you can see the filth on the white cleaning pad.

Cons: no on/off switch
you plug it in wait 30 seconds and go!

Other Thoughts: it helps to spray a little kitchen cleaner on tile
and some pledge on wood BEFORE moping

this mop doesn't whiten your floors, it cleans them...
what i mean is if you have deep dark areas, like stains (like we did) a little kitchen cleaner with the steam helps a lot.

on the other hand lets say you have dried spaghetti sauce on the floor or something from 3 weeks ago... this mop will take it up no problem!!!

I would buy again!
