1 out of 5 eggsAVOID!!!!

Pros: Price & ease of setup... thats it.

Cons: Listen to the reviews on here that say this is a waste of money... because they are true! I have this mounted as per the manuf instructions, and have the antenna 20' higher than the repeater (vertically) and over 25' away from each other horizontally.

If you read the instructions from the manuf, it says to mount the antenna AWAY from any metal? Really? How many antenna masts/poles have you seen made out of anything but metal. How many fascia coverings and over hangs are now made out of metal? A lot, thats how many. So its stupid to produce something that has to mount on a pole or a house, and then say to keep it away from metal.

This unit only helps if my phone is within 5' of the repeater. There is NO WAY this unit will cover 3000sq ft.... not unless there is already a good signal present. And if there is already a good signal present, you wouldnt need this. By the time my phone gets 10' or more away from the repeater, I have no signal.

Also, Newegg will does not offer a refund on this item. That should say enough there. Had I known ahead of time, I wouldnt have bought this piece of junk.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little more money and buy a good Wilson system... you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

Pros: Works awesome!

Cons: Mounting bracket for antenna is alittle flimsy, you may need to buy some extra screws especially if you are going to mout it in a tree like i did. Kind of expensive but totally worth it!

Other Thoughts: I was skeptical about this at first, some people wrote some bad reviews but in the directions it clearly states to mount the antenna away from all metal objects........attics and roofs are full of nails, beam fastening brackets wires and flashing including rain gutters. soo I climbed 25 feet up a tree just outside my office window "trees do not contain metal"! And yes i did have 3 bars on my cell up in that tree. Now in my office where before i had one to no bars on my phone, I now have 5 bars sometimes it drops to 4 but no dropped calls or cutting in and out anymore.

2 out of 5 eggsdecent

Pros: works decent enough to use my phone if I stand within 5' of it. which is a plus cause before I had no bars at all out here, and now I do get signal

Cons: garbage omnidirectional antenna cant pull in the further away genuine straighttalk/tracfone tower so works off of lousy gsm roaming tower instead. no packet data connection on that tower

Other Thoughts: might be great with a directional antenna but as is this set up is sub-par, mediocre at best.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product and Company

Pros: This company stands behind its product. I purchased a new unit about 3 years ago. When it started acting crazy I contacted their support. I believe the unit was past the warranty period but they sent me a new (newer model) unit including the external antenna and coax.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!!

Pros: When installed per instructions this baby works great. I now have 3 to 4 bars inside where I had nothing. Good-bye land line!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: You do have to have some signal outside for this system to work. You can't amplify what isn't there.

5 out of 5 eggsAT&T finally Works Now!

Pros: Takes a reasonable outdoor signal and turns it into a very wonderful indoor signal ! I have not had any incidence of dropped calls. The signal on the phone might show 2 bars when not being used, but increases once a call begins. It is 3G , not 4G, but i use wi-fi in the house anyway! The signal Is solid through out the house even back bedrooms thru walls.

Cons: It would be nice if they had included some waterproofing tape for the outdoor connections. I picked up a roll of silicone tape to rap around the connections to help keep water corrosion down.

Other Thoughts: I Did seperate the recieving antenna and the transmitt box with 40 ft. From what i am reading, the seperation is very important !

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: works as it should, very easy to set up

Cons: none at this time

Other Thoughts: what ever the cell signal is out side you will have inside. I don't think it quit covers 3000 square feet indoors though.

2 out of 5 eggsOnly work occasionally

Pros: My kitchen and family room at the back of the house doesn't get any cell signal at all. It helps me to make calls from there.

Cons: It doesn't work reliably and much less capable than what was advertised. On a good moment I may get up to 4 bars. But most of times only 2 bars. And very often, nothing, even when I stand just a few feet away from it.

Other Thoughts: Too expensive for the performance. I'd have looked at some other options if I knew how well (or poorly) it works.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Went from 1 bar 3G to 4 bars has about a 30 foot radius and then starts to drop off Iam very happy with it was able to get rid of land line.

Cons: If it has to go threw walls signal drops off significantly but thats only to be exspected.
