Rookie Nerd... 3/19/2010 8:52:40 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 2/5	Rating: 1/5Frozen Backups Pros: I got this free with the purchase of Nero 9 Reloaded. Not backwards compatible (as far as I know.) It did not upload backup from Nero 7 Ultimate Edition for me. Cons: It freezes half-way through my backups and causes my CPU temp to increase by 20c. This also uses 50% of my processor when it is in frozen mode. Other Thoughts:* You can only email customer support. Just did a 59G b-up to my new external eSata drive in 30 minutes. Sync tool is a plus for sure. I'd give it 5 eggs if the DVD burn was more user friendly. Daddy Dave 1/7/2010 9:47:51 AM Tech Level: 5/5 Ownership: 3/5	Rating: 1/5No support. Zeroes source and destination files. Pros: None. Cons: Nero's BackItUp and Burn has a major flaw that would be easily solved it they'd respond to my support inquiries. I have one directory, the most important one on my whole computer that contains my latest engineering files, where all files in both my source directory and in the location where I'm sending it are Zeroed out! I've lost all of my data in that directory. I'm only saved because I'm paranoid and backup all time time and have a copy of the directory from earlier this week. I believe the problem is related to very long filenames and/or deep directory structures. I've lost 2 days' work due to Nero's faulty software. I have the latest everything. Other Thoughts: Because they lead you into trust and are a major company with a long history writing PC software, I'm even more tee'd off than I would be if I'd paid $5 for a shareware backup application.
