Pros: This helmet was a promise from last year. I ordered the Master Chief costume for my son. The costume came with a two piece helmet. Our agreement was that next year I would order this helmet.
He loves it!! Received lots of good comments from all ages. The lights work great for night time walking house to house.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Shipping was very quick!!

Pros: This thing looks pretty realistic, and looks really cool. The vizor that you see through is clear, and the cushioning on the inside is comfortable.

Also, the LEDs are really nice and bright, and came with batteries!

Cons: It is REALLY big! I have to wear a baseball cap *within* the helmet just to keep it from flopping all over the place, and its still roomy in there! (Mind you, I have a decently sized head).

The overall feel of it is pretty plasticy. Like, not good plastic either, but a real cheap plastic feeling. It looks very roughly put together, and with better thought and designing, this could have been a much better helmet.

Personally, I didn't like the "battle damage" scratches on the helmet either. I feel they look too fake, and make the helmet look not as good; I would've done without them.

The price is the biggest issue.

Other Thoughts: Don't be overwhelmed by my cons, this helmet is a pretty nice helmet. Just be sure to put something inside to keep it from moving.

The main thing is, as mentioned, is the price. I was fine with paying $90 for the helmet, thinking it was a high quality helmet. Upon receiving it, I'd say it's worth $40, or $60 max.

Only buy this helmet if you really like Halo or you really need a decent quality Master Chief helmet and don't care about the price.
