Pros: Looks just like the real Stig; excellent conversation piece; the ceiling projection works nicely; makes 10-year-old boys delightfully happy.

Cons: Clock controls poorly located, documented, and not for the feeble-minded; just a wee-bit smaller than hoped for; just a wee bit more expensive then hoped for.

Other Thoughts: At first, seemed like a bit much to spend on a low-grade alarm clock, and the other reviews seemed to reinforce this. OTOH, you *do* get to wake to the hella-kewl sounds of the Top Gear theme song (a.k.a. Allman Bros' "Jessica"), the Stig's visor flips up to reveal the time, and it projects the time on the ceiling. My 10-year-old son absolutely LOVES this clock. The smiles I get from him, and that he now LOVES to wake up in the morning, ultimately make this some of the cheapest cash I've spent at NewEgg, especially as *Dad* is a Top Gear fan as well. All in all, recommended!

Pros: It's cute, it's campy, and it works very well. Love it! A must for any Top Gear (British Version) fan.

Cons: Slightly hard to set time/alarm - need light and little fingers or a teenager that can see well and has little fingers.

Other Thoughts: I've purchase two of these...love them!

Pros: SON REALLY WANTED THIS FOR CHRISTMAS AS IS A HUGE TOP GEAR FAN.

Cons: WAS PACKAGED OKAY BUT WHEN OPENED THE BATTERIES LEAKED ALL THROUGH THE DEVICE AND WOULD NOT WORK EVEN WHEN WHEN NEW BATTERIES PUT IN.
AM RETURNING.

Other Thoughts: PULL TAG AND MAKE SURE IT WORKS BEFOR SHIPPING.

Pros: I love the show, and saw this clock on the shell shocker deals, So I decided to go ahead and buy it.
I was very excited when it arrived and happy to say I was not disappointed.

The alarm feature is very cool since it plays the intro music to Top Gear. Also the alarm is pretty loud.
The alarm will play the Top Gear theme song three times in a row and then turn off the alarm. while it is playing you can press down on the clock to snooze for about 5 mins. To turn it off press and hold the clock down for about 3 seconds and then a single beep sound indicates that the alarm is now turned off.
I really enjoy waking up to the theme song

Cons: The projection feature doesn't really show up unless all the lights are turned off.

The quality of the sound when playing the theme song is acceptable. It just sounds like it is playing through a cheap little speaker. (because it is).

Other Thoughts: It's the Stig and it looks great sitting on my dresser.
Overall it's a good little clock and a Top Gear fan will really enjoy this clock. (I know I do)

Pros: Looks like picture and the goggles slide up to reveal the "cheap clock"

Cons: Cheap time peace inside, unable to make the projected time stay on. That was one feature I would have really liked. The head is small, thought it would be bigger or close to life size at least, but is small.

Other Thoughts: disappointed they left no feature for turning the projected time to always on or at least when dark would have been smart

Pros: Some say that his heart ticks like a watch and that he is confused by stairs.

Cons: Some say that he has a digital face - and if he felt like it he coild fire Alan Sugar.

Other Thoughts: Some say that he has the mating call of a killer whale and that he has counted to infinity - twice.

Cons: Theme song is shortened and low quality.

Time projected to the ceiling is backwards from what is displayed in the picture. Apparently not a defect since my friends is the same way. So this clock was designed so that if you want to read the projected time with the Stig on the headboard or night stand the Stiig has to be facing the wall you're bed is against.

Impressively bad design, accompanied by a very cheap feel for a 30$ alarm clock.

Other Thoughts: This clock is pretty much built like a young child's toy.

Pros: Some say.. that it doesn't need batteries, but nuclear fuel instead.
And some say... that it only wears socks on Tuesday...
All we know is... its THE STIG as an alarm clock!

Cons: Actually, it does need batteries so no super cool nuclear fuel clocks for us.

Other Thoughts: It's a functional alarm clock for fans of the show! it works.
