5 out of 5 eggsI don't hate you!

Pros: I love this little thing. Calling it a flashlight is a joke, but it is fun. I lives on my desk and has brightened many a boring work day (yes the review title is one of its comments, so NO this is a relative product review, not a Hate statement in violation of the guidelines).

Cons: It is tiny. The "flashlight" is about the size of a large pin. The legs aren't too stable. I mistook the antenna on the head as packaging and ripped part of it out. I'd like to see a larger version.

Other Thoughts: I thought this thing had died many months ago because it stopped talking when you click the talk button. I found out that if you turn on the "flashlight" for a few seconds, it recharges the speech center, and it will talk a few more lines before you need to "recharge" it with another few seconds of turning the "flashlight" on.

5 out of 5 eggsI don't hate you!

Pros: The same annoying Turrets that keep trying to kill you in Portal and Portal 2, getting to look at you on your desktop. They give a little light and fun chatter (Such as "I don't hate you." and "Dispensing Product").

Cons: They are rather costly for their size and quality. They are quite small.

Other Thoughts: One thing I have noted as MT turret's life is ending. His voice slurred, and then stopped entirely. But I found if I turned on his light for a few seconds, I got a few more threatening phrases out of him! :)

3 out of 5 eggsNovel but cheap

Pros: It was a gift and it made the recipient smile. Light switch that can be changed without noise. The box is clever and adds a lot to the product.

Cons: Mine didn't have the antenna on top, which brings me to the "cheap" part. It's made of cheap plastic and the legs are flimsy. I really don't see how it came without an antenna. The sound recordings are somewhat garbled, but its a cheap little toy.

Other Thoughts: I got it on sale and it was almost worth the price. Honestly I expected something nicer (and complete) for even the sale price. Still a cool little desk ornament.

4 out of 5 eggsA Nifty Desktop Item

Pros: Small, Lightweight, Good voice quality. Stands up straight, hard to knock over.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: I wish it had a motion detector. Would be especially great with the line of 'are you still there?'

3 out of 5 eggsFlashlight?

Pros: Cool voice, just like in the Portal game.

Cons: Cheaply made, doesn't stand up right and is definately NOT a flashlight.

3 out of 5 eggsFlashlight?

Pros: It's a cute desk item for a Portal devotee.

Cons: A flashlight it ain't. It emits a small beam of red light that would'nt even suffice for a pointer light. It's small, only about 2.5" tall.

Other Thoughts: Got it for Christmas for my 2 kids that love playing Portal and Portal 2. They seem to like it so I guess that's what counts.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: none

Cons: Not worth the money. Small piece of plastic. Wasn't impressed. Should be a quarter of the price.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Really cool buy when it was on sale. It has the red lazer for targeting and over all really good buy.

Cons: Two things sometimes it just won't stay up (giggidy) on my desk.and two it doesn't make the sound when it topples over in game.

Other Thoughts: Really cool could've been better.

5 out of 5 eggsNeeds more lasers

Pros: - Very bright red LED
- Audio is clear and distinguishable
- Came with batteries installed

Cons: - LED really wouldn't function well as a "flashlight" as labelled, but it is definitely bright enough to see the light and a bit of the sentry's form
- Legs seem somewhat flimsy and unable to position, but they are enough for it to stand on its own

- Distinct lack of lasers. Won't be able to chase away squirrels.

Other Thoughts: Very enjoyable little toy, especially for those familiar with the series.

2 out of 5 eggsTiny

Pros: Looks like a Portal 2 Sentry Turret

Cons: This is a tiny, delicate toy that emits a tiny bit of light and a tiny bit of sound. I nearly broke it getting it out of the packaging. Certainly not a good toy for young children. It might be okay as a desk accessory for the Portal 2 devotee, but otherwise you might be disappointed.

Other Thoughts: I was going to give this as a goofy Christmas gift, but I decided I could get something better and less embarrassing from the dollar store.
