Pros: They do what they're supposed. Don't feel bad about beating them up if necessary. Pretty cheap.

Cons: Item dirty with sticky gunk on back and a smudge on lcd. Batteries were essentially dead.
Would not recommend buying from this seller again.

Other Thoughts: For the five minutes or so i got to use them before batteries died. They performed as expected. Buttons are a little slow to respond. I'm very disappointed about the seemingly "used" factor.

Pros: It's cheap and accurate. That's what I was looking for.

Comes with a protective case.

Cons: I got a unit with a bad battery compartment. I think I can make it work when I take some time to modify it. Currently, I have to continually and firmly press on the battery cover while using it, which make taking a reading nearly impossible.

I should have returned them for a replacement, but I waited too long.

Pros: Love the metric option. Tool does what it is advertised to do.

Cons: Needs to be zeroed often.

Cons: Cheap construction - slider doesn't always grip and can get stuck. I feel like I'm always close to breaking it.

Other Thoughts: Simply put, you get what you pay for.

Pros: These calipers are an awesome buy at 1/2 off when available as a shell shocker. They seem like reasonably rugged analog+digital calipers and have repeatable 1 thousands of an inch (Mil / Thou) accuracy. If you ever wanted better than 1mm or 1/32 of an inch measurements, these are the babies for you. Use them for both metal and wood fabrication or repair projects with good confidence.

Cons: Can sometimes "slip" and give GROSSLY inaccurate readings if not handled nicely. A ridiculously good deal for what you are getting, but still not a professional grade tool.

Other Thoughts: If you see these as half-off Shell Shockers again, just buy them. You'll never look back given the value.

Pros: digital, one-button switch from metric to imperial, auto shut off, turns on automatically whenusing slider, very solid, comes with extra battery

Cons: not much. have to press the "zero" button every so often.

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: Both included batteries are no good. Instructions are of little value, since they are Chinese translations.

Other Thoughts: Another reviewer offered some repair suggestions I tried with some success. Still need to find a new battery.

Pros: Have used real quality micrometers calipers etc, and digital, overall you always want to use a mechanical caliper however after testing this down to a .001" oil clearance this hit the mark very close
Most readings varied from .0015 to .002

Cons: Onlys allows for .0005 variations, but still good considering accuracy to the thousandth is usually all that is necessary for most applications

Pros: If you work in a machine shop you should look for a more expensive tool. For hobby use and to get the right size chuck key for my drill press, it is great. May use it less than once a month but it has worked fine so far.

Cons: Could have had a stupid rebate to wait for.

Other Thoughts: I Do RC cars, trucks, planes, and computers. Sometimes you need to measure.

Pros: Works great for me I'm a woodworker
