Pros: I was able to return the item.

Cons: Item was not packed well for shipping and came in damaged. I would not recommend.

Pros: A huge deal, quality name, came clean with new pieces but not totally new. What ever needed replacing they replaced. Starts first or second pull.. been using daily for an hour or so on and off.. No issues since cleaning and re-gapping the plug.

Cons: Only 1... Spark plug was dirty and had a hard time starting... Used fresh gas.. Had to clean and re-gap plug..

Other Thoughts: I suggest ordering Husqvarna 501834409 13" - 16" Guide Bar Cover Scabbard. This will protect the chain as well as anything that might come into contact with the chain as this chain saw does not come with a scabbard or chain protector.

If i needed another i would buy it without question. extremely happy..

Pros: Saw runs well, good sharp chain, nice handling.

Cons: Warm starts take a little practice...if it sits for a half hour or so, you have to give it a pump or two on the primer.

Pros: light, powerful, and cuts fast as long chain is sharp

Pros: Usual seamless shopping experience, it got here so fast we had to cut short a trip in order to receive it. It looked great, packaging pristine, all expected items within. Once running the saw performs as one would expect

Cons: The saw started once, it started twice and then I couldn't start it again...called Newegg who referred me to VMinnovations who referred me to Husquvarna. I took the saw to a certified repair station, their finding was "bad gas in the carb, good gas in the tank". Husqvarna looked over the problem and said they wouldn't honor their warranty since it involved bad gas [apparently not mine]. The bill was 70 dollars. I got back to VMinnovations who offered to split the bill with me and I thought that was fair. Thing is the saw definitely still does not start easily, maybe this will get better [and maybe worse]. My last purchase from these players was a refurb gas string trimmer and it is wonderful, starts more easily than any other gas equipment I've had...maybe things even out in the end.

Other Thoughts: The Husqvarna people in my opinion should have covered the cost of the service [which involved resetting the carb and replacing a new spark plug with a different new spark plug]. I have written a letter to the US vice president for sales and service asking that he override the decision of his "escalation team".

I have had chain saws for 40 years, 2 cheap ones and then a Stihl 026 for the last 30 years. The Stihl is still running fine and this one would not replace it...but I really bought this one to use if the Stihl gets irretrievably hung up...which has happened. Good price, product could pass for new but so far no pleasure at all to start.

Other Thoughts: Would have been nicer if it came with a case but for the price you cant beat it.

Pros: Starts up and runs without issue.
Not too heavy or bulky.
Shipped quickly without issue.
Price was excellent, if there were no "cons".

Cons: Safety brake came locked up. Had to remove it to get the chain moving. Doesn't come with an extra chain or case. A replacement chain is difficult to find.

Other Thoughts: I probably could have just sent it back, but I didn't want to deal with the shipping. I had already put gas in it and wasn't sure if I could even return it. It runs fine now, just no safety brake. It's a little flimsy for a top of the line brand, with one bolt holding the chain cover and a lot of plastic...will see how long it holds up.
I gave it 2 eggs simply because the Husky brand is supposed to be one of the best. The "cons" are not Neweggs fault but rather the manufacturer and mine for not doing enough homework on this particular model.

Pros: great saw, started right up ran exactly how it should. Same as brand new out of the box Thanks New Egg!

Pros: Saw arrived in great shape, Happy with the condition, came in a fatory box all stated parts were thier. warrenty states 2 years, lifetime on the electrical

Cons: Did not run properly, 4 cylced though all power bands. tried to adj carb but has non user adjustable jets, called Husky gave me a local shop, fixed Immediately. Vender is selling the same saw with gloves and free shipping on another site for $20.00 less

Other Thoughts: Husky are tough, this is my 3rd, I have a 455 rancher for the big stuff this saw fits the clean up bill. also a pole saw all run flawlesly now.
