Pros: I needed a tool box for all of my tech tools at the house but didn't want to spend a ton of money at one of the local hardware stores. This box is great for the price (I was able to get this for 35 but even the current price is a steal).

Cons: The drawers need to be broken in a little. Mine got a lot smoother after using them for a week. You can also try to de-grease the rails and use a thinner oil. It's such a minor detail that I can't knock off an egg.

Other Thoughts: I was really concerned that I wouldn't get my toolbox in perfect shape. Some previous reviews complained about dented sides and scratched paint. Mine arrived in perfect condition. I wouldn't stress it. There are also great reviews on 4mazon.

Cons: Tried to contact the manufacture about my damaged box and have not gotten a reply in over a month now.

Cons: Cheap construction. Ordered one, it arrived bashed in on one corner, prevented the lid from functioning properly and the paint was chipped off. I contacted the seller to replace it. They said to mail it back, which would have cost MORE than I paid for the box in the first place. I asked if they would pay for return shipping, and they agreed, then I heard nothing and got no shipping info. One day a week later a new toolbox showed up on my door. Excited, I opened it up, only to find that the lower drawer was broken. The ball bearing sliders are literally sitting in pieces inside the drawer. So... now I have two broken toolboxes... which I guess I am just going to put in the dumpster because dealing with the seller has been difficult enough already.

Other Thoughts: I don't like writing negative reviews, but this purchase has led to nothing but frustration for me.

Other Thoughts: would have been a really nice box if it didn't look like it had been dropped off a 10 story building, top was dented on the corner and it was hit so hard it will not sit level on a flat surface :( for the price i paid it is not worth going in the hole on the return shipping to try to get a defect free one.

Pros: Ball bearings, drawer liners, heavy duty. Seems better built than my Craftsman basic set (thicker steel), and the drawer slides seem to be exactly the same. Good buy for the buck.

Cons: Drawer locks feel flimsy, but works. Probably could be forced open without too much effort. Not a big deal on this type of box.

Other Thoughts: I dont lock it, so the drawer lock con is not a big deal. I keep the box in my car to keep all my stuff in and organised.

Its a great deal on a good product.

Pros: Well construed of heavier gauge steel and very sturdy.
All drawers include a liner.

Cons: Not really a con, but even empty the tool box is heavy.

Other Thoughts: Prior to ordering the tool box I was not familiar with the Tactix brand.
Now have had a chance to use this box I am very impressed with it.
For the price I paid the value is outstanding.

I would now have no qualms in ordering other Tactix products should the need arise.

Pros: the drawers are a bit shallow ,but will do for a road trip tool box.well built and solid box for the money.

Pros: Heavy gauge steel construction. Ball bearing drawer sliders. Padded floors. Looks and feels much more expensive than the price would indicate..

Other Thoughts: I've been looking for a quality portable toolbox with drawers for some time now. Saw this and purchased it for $34.99 shipped free. I'm 100% happy. This is coming from a guy who's been a tool freak for well over 40 years.
