Sound is pretty good out of the stock speakers. The video is crisp and clear on the DVD. In order to watch DVD's you are supposed to install the green wire to the parking brake switch. If you don't want the hassle just ground the parking brake wire to the ground screw on the stereo case. This also comes with RCA outputs for front and rear sound as well as a DVD output to a monitor. Very good stereo for the price. Cons: The backup camera will only work when backing up. The stereo is disabled when camera is active so don't wire your camera to the running lights hoping for a bad-a@@ video sequence with sound as the cop behind you rear ends you in a high speed police chase. The actual screen display is plain boring text. I was hoping for a wallpaper option or something. The remote control is retardedly complex.
