Pros: Nice solid attractive watch.

Cons: Periodically, about once every 2 weeks to one month the watch all of a sudden loses exactly 1 to 3 hours. This has caught me off guard and created two serious situations for being late. One at work and one with my wife.

Other Thoughts: I love the watch except for the weird hour loses that are occurring. To make time changes you have to unscrew the adjustment knob then pull it out and change the time so that isn't accidentally causing the time to be lost in perfect multiple increments of an hour...down to the minute. I use it daily, but it the occurrances being more periodic, it will be down to 1 egg. As it is, I will probably never buy another watch from them.

Pros: Solid, heavy, sturdy construction. Well light dials. Nice contrast between dark and light. Face not to big for small wrists.

Cons: Poor documentation.

Pros: - feels solid and durable
- recessed buttons prevent accidental activation
- excellent craftsmanship, looks great (much nicer in person, pictures do not do it justice)
- clasp is very strong
- excellent value with sale price

Cons: - very heavy and large (not for thin wrists)
- vendor warranty *extremely* limited
- missing chronograph function (dials are for date/time only)
- extremely bloated MSRP / list price markup
- very limited results in searching for authorized service dealers (was hoping to find one locally)

Other Thoughts: When I received the watch, I was very impressed with how it looked (very nice details) and noticed how heavy and large it was. Of course, this also makes it feel solid and durable at the same time - however it almost felt too heavy and takes a bit of getting used to. When adjusting the band I noticed the clasp seems bulletproof, and setting the time I realized the dials are day of week / day of month / 24h (military time) indicators and the instruction does not mention a chrono funtion - was a bit dissapointed (but was not going to use the chrono if it existed so no loss for me).

In reading the limited vendor warranty I almost lost the warm fuzzy feeling about the purchase, but the 5 year manufacturer warranty restored it.

Swiss Precimax authorized service / dealers - where are you?? It would be nice to know a local watch repair / jeweler is nearby when I need a battery replaced - I do not feel comfortable having to send out. So if the battery dies before 5 years it may be likely I will loose the remainder of the warranty if I go my local shop :(

This is a very good value for the sale price, less than half than what you normally find. Despite all the cons (only -1 egg), I really like this timepiece and if it holds up I will purchase more of this brand.
