1 out of 5 eggsSit'n'spin

Pros: None

Cons: I was never able to get it to do more than spin in place. Apparently mine was defective or something, but I wasn't able to play with it until well after the warranty period was over. But hey, the missiles fired in the correct direction!

Other Thoughts: It was a cheap purchase, so I guess you get what you paid for.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good

Pros: Pretty fun toys. Average price and battery life. Easy to fly.

Cons: Ordered two, one came defective, unable to turn with the joy stick. Still usable and flyable, just have to use the balance adjuster. Missiles occasionally get jammed.

2 out of 5 eggsNot reliable

Pros: Was cheap and on sale. Around $20 gets you a helicopter that fly's better then an Air Hog and has USB charging which is a big +

Cons: Broke in under a month.
I am a fairly good rc pilot so it didnt crash or get banged up much, but what did happen is the blades decided to quit spinning. Made In CHINA. need i say more.

Other Thoughts: Rockets didnt always seem to want to shoot, had to keep hitting the button.
It did come with extra blades and rockets, if yours happens to live long enough to need them.

1 out of 5 eggsWish got it to Fly

Pros: Looks cool.
The missiles actually launched and travelled about 7+ feet.

Cons: It never flew out of the box. The blades did spin but the helicopter would not lift off. Whenever I increased the throttle it made a very high pitch nosie (apologies to the neighborhood dogs).

Other Thoughts: Naturally I sent it back. I did not hear from the seller until after I had paid to send it back per Newegg. It was a waste of my time. I really liked the look and the launher and wished it would have done what it was designed to do...FLY!

2 out of 5 eggsU810 Fly Wolf Heli Review

Pros: Price.

Ordered two on special for about $20/each.

Cons: These are quite the cheap toy.

My daughter and I opened and tried to fly it. We followed the vague instructions as best we could.

We could never get it to fly higher than a couple feet. We set it on our dining room table and lifted off. At first it seemed like it would work beautifully, but then it would never go higher than a couple feet, and it would not steer correctly.

We followed the limited troubleshooting guide in the manual, to no avail.

I'm disappointed, but i'm not angry because i got them cheap. But if i would have paid full price of about $70 at the time, i would be flaming mad.

We haven't opened the 2nd one yet. We might return it, or we might try it. Not sure. But the enthusiasm for a fun experience is quite low. There are no expectations of it working correctly out of the box.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work

Pros: Looked good. Packaged good. Had some nice features.

Cons: First one DOA. Wouldn't charge. RMA'd it. Next one charged but wouldn't fly. Seller never responded to the email and Newegg dropped the ball. Don't buy. Either this copter or from this seller, ToyWorld.

Other Thoughts: Surprised that Newegg let this seller blow off this.

3 out of 5 eggsNot reliable

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: Does not fly! This is our third copter. None of them fly!
One was user fault by crashing, but the other two DID NOT WORK FRESH OUT OF THE BOX!!!! Very frustrating as it is more of a hassle to return than eat crow.
One failed copter makes a loud CRASH sound with its blades when you increase speed to take off, thus smashing it's blades together and not taking off.
The other one, THIS ONE, just spins and spins in circles on the floor---does not take off---and emits a high pitched whining sound from the main blades.
Yes, the rotation setting was adjusted, and no, it does not help. Extreme left or right does nothing to affect this failure to launch.

I am very upset with these copters. They just do not justify the purchase.

Other Thoughts: Get the next price range up above $50 if you want a copter that actually lasts and flies.

5 out of 5 eggsToday's X-Mas "Toy Train"

Pros: I didn't know how popular this toy was until I had it out and was demoing it at our family Christmas gathering. I'm a "Boomer", and remember when, at Christmas, my dad and I would set up my train set and spend much of the holiday playing with it along with the family and friends (male) who would inevitably drop by. This little indoor toy helicopter generated just as much fun (and envy) as my old train set did! And is so inexpensive, that I wound up buying more as gifts! Everyone, both male and female wanted to try flying it! It was the 'Hit of the Holiday'. Go figure...

It took many nasty crashes in stride and I haven't had yet to replace the rotors with the spares included in the box. It only holds enough charge for about 5 to 10 minutes of flight time, but recharges fairly quickly when plugged into a 120v outlet. It can also be recharged from the remote control (digital proportional) via a self storing connector within the controller. I recommend top quality alkaline or lithium batteries for the controller. While the remote controlled missiles were amusing, We decided not to use them after a near miss with someone's eye. Play value on par with "Angry Birds" (if you like "Angry Birds"). A definite Great Buy!

Cons: Waiting 10 to 15 minutes while hilo recharges. Moving furniture to retrieve missiles. Only getting 5 to 10 minutes flight time per charge. The learning curve to steadily controlled flight seems to depend on the age of the pilot, with the younger ones (25 and under, down to about 12) being the quickest in the uptake.

Other Thoughts: There are a lot of these mini helicopters on the market. I suggest that at the maxi-bang for the mini-buck they are available for, everyone should try one.

3 out of 5 eggsUp, Up & Away

Pros: Flew nicely in all directions indoors and even outdoors on calm days.

Cons: After a couple of months it stopped flying forward and backward, hard to control. Called Newegg and contacted ToyWorld; had no replacement available.

Other Thoughts: By a Syma brand. I have a couple and they are still working. Yahweh Bless.
