Light your way with this bright, compact aluminum flashlight. It has an anodized aluminum body and is water and shock resistant. The flashlight features 21 LEDs and only requires 3 AAA batteries. The LEDs last for 100,000 hours. Batteries and a poly-canvas belt holster are included.
Well built but likes to roll
Pros: Very well built and very solid feeling. Very bright probably intended for mostly outdoor use. It is probably an overkill for my intended indoor purpose. After receiving this I bought the 9 LED flashlight from the same maker.
Cons: It likes to roll too much when I want to set it down to point at something. I have to use the strap as a wedge to stop it from rolling away. The battery cap has grooves for gripping but not large enough to prevent rolling. The weight for its size probably also tends to make it roll. The switch on the back end prevents it from standing up. It does stand very well on the from but then only a very small ring of light around it, good for finding it but thats about all.
Other Thoughts: Would like to see some type of plastic clip with a flat surface for the back end to prevent it from rolling. I would like to see a 21 LED light that has a much larger spread of light. Sort of a portable flood light. This gives plenty of light but better for distance than close up work.
