Cons: This calipers' movement feels like it's full of sand and the digital display does not stay in calibration.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this piece of junk to anyone except for very simple measurements taken for home use.

Pros: Very nicely finished stainless steel throughout with a very clear, easy to read display that seems to be very repeatable.

Cons: None discovered. Work perfectly even though the carry case has broken plastic at both ends where the forces experienced during shipping slammed the calipers into the carry case ends. A tribute to the instrument's ruggedness

Other Thoughts: I hesitated when I saw an earlier review suggesting that the caliper jaw surfaces were not well machined. Glad I did not wait longer, mine is perfectly smooth and nicely finished everywhere. The display is amazingly useful with both metric and English units available at a button push. There is a thread dimension table on the back. I like this calipers even better than my much more expensive dial indicating calipers that will probably get a rest now. The quality has to be seen to be appreciated. It is really that nice.

Pros: Stainless steel, digital-readout caliper is an ideal product of its type. Very accurate, easy to read, durable, and easy to set. Glad to have it as part of my handtool set. Great bargain.

Pros: Very good buy for the price. I sure like the inch, mm & especially the fractional reading. Someday I'll check it against some calibrated pins and blocks. I rebuild carburetors and it's ideal for my work.

Pros: Price can't be beat for what you get. Very accurate. Zero holds well so you rarely need to reset. Good quality machined parts and metal readout case. Large easy to read display. Extra battery and nice carry case to keep it clean.

Pros: Nice set that go along with my other sets (7-8) of 6" digital calipers. It's really nice to get the fractional readouts when I am deciding on what drill bits to use. I bought 2 and should have bought 5.
