Pros: This watch is absolutely beautiful and very well constructed. It is suitable for daily wear, but still elegant enough for more formal occasions. The clasp is much more secure than a standard metal-link band watch clasp, and the band is smoother and therefore more comfortable than most. The see-through front and back allowing observation of the movement is very interesting.

Other Thoughts: There are several matters that some might find as cons, depending on their taste/desires for a watch, so mentioning them seem appropriate:

-It's not as accurate as a quartz watch. Mine tends to run a bit fast (about 1 minute per week) I don't find this a con, as any mechanical watch will be this way, but you should know in advance.

-It's very heavy. Again, a well made mechanical watch will be heavier than a comparable quartz watch.

-Removing links to size the band is more difficult than with most watches, but this relates to how well made the band is. I like to wear my watch very tight and have broken several less well made bands. The way this band is built doing that to this band will be almost impossible.
