Nikon P-223 3x32
This review is from: New, Nikon P-223 3x32 Rifle Scope, Matte Black, w/ BDC Carbine Reticle
Pros: Cost, cost, cost... Realy a very nice scope for the cost its a Nikon. This scope is light weight, super clear (fully multi coated lenses) and has a very nice reticle for both short and mid-range. Parallax is set at 100yrds and because of the relatively low magnification of this scope if you do your part and maintain a consistent cheek weld it is a short-to-mid range tack driver. I realy like this scope I'll probably buy another.
Cons: 100 yard parallax (not realy a con with what this scope was designed for)
Other Thoughts: 100 yards fixed parallax poses issues at longer ranges but how far are you going to shoot with a 3x optic? But as I said before if I pay attention to cheek weld on my rifle (and bench rest it) I can hit steel at 400yrds. The scope has a hold over hash mark for 600yrds with 55gr 5.56 but that is beyond this scopes affective range in my opinion.
