Personally, I think it's very ideal as a fancy gift for younger girls, but I'm sure any girl would enjoy it as long as they fancy cats. Cons: The only 'con' might be that the "gem" is not as vibrant as the picture shows. It's a pretty dark blue. But I'll update this review if anything physically goes wrong with it (silvery look fades quickly, gem falls out, piece breaks off, etc etc) Other Thoughts: Got this for my 13-year-old sister for Christmas. She was very happy with it, and has been wearing it almost every day since I gave it to her. Just keep in mind the tidbit about the "gem" being darker than the picture. Also, the pendent itself is fairly small...maybe about 2cm in length. So if you're looking for something large, look elsewhere. Did you find this review helpful?
