The DuroStar SD1900 Snow Demon PRO 19-Inch Snow Thrower makes a tough job fast, fun and easy. Unlike bulky and hard to start gasoline snow throwers, the compact Snow Demon Pro needs no oil, gasoline, or pulling to start—just plug it in, and you're ready to go.
The Snow Demon Pro's powerful 14 amp motor throws snow up to 30 feet away at up to 800 pounds per minute and it can clear 2150 square feet of snow in an hour. In addition, the discharge chute adjusts a full 180 degrees left to right and 20 degrees up and down for accurate snow placement, giving you full control over the snow discharge direction. A convenient hand crank lets you adjust the chute angle on the go.
Thanks to its durable four-blade rotor, this snow thrower cuts a clear 19 inch wide path, up to 12 inches deep in a single pass. As a bonus, the rubber tipped blades prevent damage to brick, wood, decorative concrete, and other obstacles so it can be used wherever you need. The scraper blade at the base of the unit scrapes the snow clear from the pavement, making walkways and driveways safer.
Its lightweight design and pivoting wheels allow for easy maneuverability and makes the Snow Demon ideal for clearing everything from driveways and sidewalks, to narrow paths and patio steps. When the off-season arrives, no tools are needed to remove the Snow Demon Pro's handles so it folds down small enough to fit inside a closet or tight storage area. This unit is built to last with a durable metal frame and impact resistant body that will hold up to the coldest winters.
The Snow Demon Pro's motor produces very little noise and no harmful emissions. As a benefit of being so quiet, it can be used in the early morning hours without disturbing your neighbors. Because its electronic motor is easy to maintain, you won't have to worry about filling it with gasoline, keeping the engine primed, or getting tune-ups.

Pros: Light weight, throws farther than I expected. This isn't an endorsement, read cons.
Cons: Very noisy, didn't expect that with an electric, no noise advantage over my gas powered.
Other Thoughts: Incredibly cheap price for any kind of blower, incredibly expensive for the use I got out of it. Guess I could save some of the hardware for other uses...

Pros: Lightweight, handles powder snow easily, not so much heavy wet snow. Throws the lighter stuff a surprising distance.
Cons: Very noisy, motor just screams. Stinks... burning plastic? Used it a couple times and hasn't burnt up or felt hot yet.
Other Thoughts: Got it for a cheap backup for the gas blower, and it works fine on a couple inches of snow that seems like overkill for the bigger gas powered one. Easy to hoist up on porches, too, great for that.
