1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY FROM BARSKA

Pros: Bright when it worked. (4-5 times)

Cons: I bought 14 months ago and have used it only 4-5 times. Suddenly the light turns on VERY dim, as in you have to be in a pitch black room to see if it's on. When it worked, it was a great flashlight.

I thought it was the batteries so I purchased more, as well as a new charger. Same problem.

I called Barska today and asked what to do. She said there was nothing she could do, and the warranty was expired by 2 months. I explained my situation again and she put me on hold for 10 minutes to find out. She came back and said "ship it to us with $90 and we will repair or replace". I informed her I paid $88 for it a year ago, and she said that's all she can do.

I explained my dissatisfaction with both, the product and the service, and asked to speak to a supervisor. She said she WAS the supervisor. I let her know I would never, ever, send then another dime if this is how they treat their customers for such a high end product. She said "ok, have a good day"

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY

1 out of 5 eggsUnreliable

Pros: The light is very bright when it worked.

Cons: The flashlight quit working after about 4 or 5 months. Once the initial charge on the batteries was gone, the light never seemed to hold a good charge. Eventually, the light just quit working. Will never buy this brand again. This product is junk. If you are in law enforcement and need a reliable light, keep away from this one!

Other Thoughts: None.

3 out of 5 eggsBark is worse than bite, doesn't last

Pros: That is one bright light. Sit back and enjoy the show as you attempt to convince your "No really... It is VERY bright.." to no avail and view for yourself the effectiveness of temporarily blinding your attacker. If you happen to have a round pair or colored glasses lying around or evel a gel get ready for the closest thing you will ever get a real light-sabor, guarenfuckinteed. The ridges by the light are a turn on. Perfect for a blind-and-grind attack on any attacker. Keeps away hobos (most likely because you appear to be a cop)

Cons: Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad battery life. When it would turn on the battery would last me about a 5 days worth of uses. Mind you it wasn't on all day. Think 2 dark walks to a bus stop + 2 blocks walk home and maybe a ten minute rifling through a dark closet once a week. and after 4 months ot just wouldn't turn on anymore. I had a friend who was so impressed with my new giant member she bought one for herself. Itlasted less than mine did completly dead after about ONE month.

Other Thoughts: First few weeks i felt impenetrable. I would turn into John Wayne at every dark corner. Once it stoped working my fear of the dark increased about 20%

5 out of 5 eggsLight where needed

Pros: Excellent lighting for power outages, early morning walks clearing the way and illuminating area so others can see me when walking the roads while showing me the way. Especially like the different modes for warning others.

Cons: Can't leave on for a long period of time due to getting hot.

1 out of 5 eggsBarska is low quality

Pros: This bulb is very bright.

Cons: --Barska is known for shoddy, low quality products. I have owned their scopes and those are very low priced with the quality to match.
--Way to expensive for this light.

Other Thoughts: While the T6 CREE bulb used is 1200 lumens and is the brightest flashlights I own, the Barska was most expensive by 4 times. Just do a search for T6 CREE and you will find many much cheaper and built better or at least equal to this one. With their scopes I can say you get what you pay for as they are cheaper than name brands, but this is the exception for some reason.

5 out of 5 eggsOverpriced Flash Light

Pros: OK, I have own myself a 1K Lumen and 7k Lumen CPEE LED flashlight over the years..

Lets to the main points...

*CPEE LED 1k+ Flashlight does wonderful job brighten up the place in the dark
*Is a solid construction And can be weather resistence (not underwater resistence type)
*I have mine (different brand) for over a years now and it works great

Cons: Ok, The con is not really the product itself but the item pricing....

1k - 2k Lumen CPEE LED is been on the market for a while, you can easily find 1k Lumen High powered Flashlight for low double digit price, and this price range that some company offer is ridiculous, 1.2k lumen for triple digit pricing?

I got 7000 Luman Flashlight recently from an alternate brand and company for much much less, in a low triple digit pricing, close to double digit price

Is is not fair to take advantage of customer to gain that huge margin of profit to consumer that is not flashlight savvy

I know i rated this 5 Egg, because the product itself is nothing wrong with it, some may get bust or some may get a long lasting flashing, must problem with the flashlight is the 18650 Battery type they're using, I recommend using Ultrafire 18650 battery, they're better quality.

I recommend you to find an alternate website to find a competitive pricing for the same item..

coughcoughEeeeBbbb@A@Yyycoug

Other Thoughts: Again, This is review is solely about the overly priced product that is been put on newegg market place when this type of flashlight is been out in the market for over 2 years and you can easily find other for alot cheapers WAY alot cheaper

If you look hard enough, you can find a 1.2k luman flashight for $14.99, and i'm not kidding. $130 vs $15 you decide

1 out of 5 eggs1200 lumen

Pros: This light is the brightest flashlight that I have ever owned. I also like the flashing modes.

Cons: The flashlight has stopped working after only 4 months, I have replaced the very expensive batteries and still does not work. I've tried taking it apart with no luck as to finding the cause of it not working with no luck.

Other Thoughts: To muck money for the short time of having a good flashlight.

1 out of 5 eggsDead 5 months to the day

Pros: Super bright, different light settings, strobes, can be used as a weapon, great construction.

Cons: DEAD...i went to use it tonight and it came on for a split second then never again...I have had flashlights for years and my previous flashlight to this one is a Lumapower D-mini VX, that flashlight is a BEAST and at 1/2 the size of this Barska and is still going strong.

Other Thoughts: I do not recommend

2 out of 5 eggsunreliable

Pros: Great beam pattern, using 5 LED's

Cons: Unreliable. Returns cost $25. Just not up to standards.

Other Thoughts: Right now FENIX flashlights rule the market.
