This review is from: BARSKA CO11216 Spotting Scope
Pros: None. Cannot say anything because it was impossible to focus on the object.
Cons: Tripod cannot hold the scope steady.
Other Thoughts: I tried to see the moon. What could be easier? It's big, bright and (unlike wildlife) is not running away from you. All I got is a headache. Tripod and tripod screws are imposible to secure steady anough to focus on the object - it's moving under the lens own weight. I am a photographer - I am used to heavy lenses. I tried for 10 min. to focus on the moon and after that my husband tried - also without success. If by some miracle you manage to secure tripod on the object, the focus knob is so rude and hard to turn that you inevitably move the scope trying to focus and the object disappears from viewfinder. It's useless for adult or child. And the worst part - we cannot even return it - it's not broken. It just faulty construction. I write a review second time in my life - I think it says a lot - don't even think about buying that thing.
